Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> May 23, Zoo <br /> Present: Bayne Taylor, Diane Rommelrneycr, Ed Larkin, Richard Halpern, <br /> Gus Frederick, Beverly Dane, Evelyn Buchenfeldt,Paula Peters, <br /> Ralph Shaw <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1 <br /> 1IIT[ TS: <br /> Tuesday,May 9,2006Re ul ar Session: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Larkin to approve-the Regular Session <br /> minutes of Tuesday,May 9,2006 as presented.. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Halpern. <br /> VOTE; Unanimous, <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> CPA Roundtable pd : <br /> Chairman Taylor attended the CFA roundtable discussion last Monday <br /> and distributed information to the Committee regarding A Successfid Non- <br /> Profit Easementm. <br /> Mr. Taylor informed the Committee that there are restrictions on the use <br /> of community preservation funds that are going to restrict several <br /> applications submitted. As noted, CPA funding cannot be used for items <br /> such as maintenance, furnishings, and interior fixtures. <br /> Onepo ect that this will affect is the.fumishings related to the completion <br /> f the One Room Schoolhouse. To date,the sum of$24,030 is requested <br /> for the purchase of authentic f rnishings, boobs, landscaping, foundation <br /> repairs and the replacement of a hard railing in the front of the <br /> schoolhouse. <br /> It was noted the exterior railing can be CPA funded,but it is not an ADA <br /> requirement for a public building since the buildings is of historic status. <br />
