The projected cost of Phase II is $225,000. Where is strong community support for the project as outlined in the letters previously submitted to the CPA Counittee. At this time,the Committee arced to consider Phase I of the Breezy Acres Expansion Project proposal. F.mma Mills Brennan—Paula Goldbqg Mills.Family ads at Santuit Pond: Paula Goldberg, Lard Protection Specialist of The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts, Inc. was in attendance on behalf of the Mills Family to discuss their proposal to preserve open space land at Santuit Pond. It was noted the Bills Fancily previously submitted an application for CPA funding for appropriation at the October 2006 Town 1reeting. The CPQ. funding request is$'720,000 or$45,000 per acre. The application for CPA funding to be considered at the May 2007 Ton Meeting considers the purchase of approximately 16 acres for conservation purposes and to convey a perpetual conservation restriction (CR) on the lard acquired to either the Massachusetts Division o Fisheries and wildlife or the Orenda Wildlife Land Trust, Inc, or both. 1t was noted the MA Division of Fisheries and 'Midlife hold the CR on the abutting conservation land. The proposal also requests the exchange of five parcels owned by the Town, a total of 0.5 acres for approximately 0.51 acres of Mills Family lands.
