3 <br /> Con aunity Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> November 14, 2006 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Geld Umina-- �juin Investment Trust <br /> 3 Pa am s Road- +Acres: <br /> Gerald Umina� Algonquin Investment Trust was in attendance t <br /> discuss his open space application to request community preservation <br /> funds to purchase approximately seven acres. The property, 153 Payamp <br /> Road as shown on Assessor's Map 50, Lot 32 abuts the Mashee wildlife <br /> Refuge. The amount of CPA funding request is $700,000. <br /> The property if purchased with CPA finds would enhance the existing <br /> Wildlife Refuge and provide an opportunity for citizens to.wally the-trails <br /> and enjoy the land in its natural condition. The Town of rishpee owns <br /> an abutting three acre parcel which is located in the John's Pond area. <br /> The application is a resubrms ion. It was noted that a certified appraisal is <br /> deemed a requirement of the CPC Committee to assist with criteria to <br /> review and make judgment on the subject property. <br /> The application as presented to the Committee was deemed incomplete a <br /> it did not answer all of the application questions contained in the Project <br /> Description. In fairness to all of the applicants, I . limina was requested <br /> to answer the Project Description questions regarding the foiiovAng; <br /> Goals, Community Need, Community Support,Timeline, Success Factors, <br /> Experience/Credentials,Budget,Other Funding and Maintenance. <br /> Motion made by Mr.Larkin to take the application as received from <br /> Algonquin Investment Trust under advisement until the Committee <br /> receives a more complete application. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Shaw. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br />
