6 Community Preservation Committee Minutes November 14, 2006 High School Terms Court: An estimate of$41,000 was presented to the Committee for CPA fading consideration to repair the cracks and repaint the six high school tenru's and two basketball courts. The project would prolong the life of the ten- year old courts used frequently by the schools.-and public. If these courts become unpla able,there would be no public courts available to Ma hpee residents.- Photographs esidents:Photographs of the aging courts were contained in the project application. It was noted that maintenance assumptions would be assumed by the School Department. Regular maintenance of the cracks would keep the courts playable and prevent water 'Infiltration COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE. Mills Family.Lands—Santuit Pond: -!�� i••i iii iii iii iiii - ii�� Correspondence was received from Paula Goldberg,The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation.Trusts, Inc-. indicating the exchange of five of the Ton's in-parcels totaling 0.5 acres for approximately 0.51 acres owned by the Mills Family is not contingent on the application before the CPC Committee for the Mills Family Lards, approximately 16.5 acres at Santuit Pond. Discussion followed regarding the October 30, 2006 Selectmen's M etmg whereby the applicant discussed the proposed land exchange with the Board of Selectmen. It was agreed the hills Family would be requested to meet before the Committee to re-correct their presentation and to discuss the possibility of not exchanging the lana. The mills Family would also be requested to submit a certified appraisal of the Mills lands, the 16.5 acre property as criteria for review and judgment purposes.
