Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> August 2 , 2007 <br /> NEWBUSINESS: <br /> Liaison Assignments Update: <br /> Heritage Pari,E ansion Project-Phase 1: <br /> Two payment requisitions were before the Committee relative to Heritage <br /> Park. The Committee-authorized the sum of$32,936.92 to the Lawrence <br /> Lynch Corporation and held the requisition in the amount of$31,074. The <br /> liaison members agreed to conduct a site visit to review work completed <br /> by Day Sign, Relco and All Cape Well I filling. <br /> It was noted that Phase I of the Heritage Park Expansion Project is near <br /> completion and work related to Phase II of the project proposal is <br /> i <br /> underway. <br /> St. Vincent's Ronde Corporation: <br /> The CPA deferred the open space application of St. Vincent's Horne <br /> Corporation due to funding constraints. However,, it was noted the Tow <br /> is presently seeping additional methods to assist with the funding <br /> proposal. It was noted the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribal Council <br /> has an interest in the property as well. Dialogue is ongoing With the Town <br /> Manager and grant funding initiatives are also being considered. The land <br /> consists of 78.67 acres at a cost of 3,1467 800. <br /> Millsit Lands-, <br /> In response to the application from the Town of Mashpee Community <br /> Preservation Committee, the CPA of the Town of Barnstable has agreed to <br /> recommend funding $150,000 towards the purchase of the Mills Family <br /> Lands at the Santuit Fond reserve, The Town of Iashpee approved at the <br /> May 2007 Tov 'n Meeting,the sum of$720,000 for the land purchase. <br /> The recommended application 'is on the agenda for the Town Council <br /> meetig on September 6, 2007 and public hearing is scheduled on <br /> September 27, 2007 in Barnstable, <br /> Kids Flub Pla round Renovation: <br /> The playground equipment has been installed at the Diels Klub. <br /> payment requisition is forthcoming to complete the project. <br />
