Community Preservation Committee Minutes August 2 , 2007 NEWBUSINESS: Liaison Assignments Update: Heritage Pari,E ansion Project-Phase 1: Two payment requisitions were before the Committee relative to Heritage Park. The Committee-authorized the sum of$32,936.92 to the Lawrence Lynch Corporation and held the requisition in the amount of$31,074. The liaison members agreed to conduct a site visit to review work completed by Day Sign, Relco and All Cape Well I filling. It was noted that Phase I of the Heritage Park Expansion Project is near completion and work related to Phase II of the project proposal is i underway. St. Vincent's Ronde Corporation: The CPA deferred the open space application of St. Vincent's Horne Corporation due to funding constraints. However,, it was noted the Tow is presently seeping additional methods to assist with the funding proposal. It was noted the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribal Council has an interest in the property as well. Dialogue is ongoing With the Town Manager and grant funding initiatives are also being considered. The land consists of 78.67 acres at a cost of 3,1467 800. Millsit Lands-, In response to the application from the Town of Mashpee Community Preservation Committee, the CPA of the Town of Barnstable has agreed to recommend funding $150,000 towards the purchase of the Mills Family Lands at the Santuit Fond reserve, The Town of Iashpee approved at the May 2007 Tov 'n Meeting,the sum of$720,000 for the land purchase. The recommended application 'is on the agenda for the Town Council meetig on September 6, 2007 and public hearing is scheduled on September 27, 2007 in Barnstable, Kids Flub Pla round Renovation: The playground equipment has been installed at the Diels Klub. payment requisition is forthcoming to complete the project.
