4 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> April 8, 2008 <br /> APPOINTMENTS A TD HEARINGS: <br /> Leila Botsford—MMh,Me Rental Assistance Program—phase L <br /> Requirements of the program were discussed. -It was noted a qualified <br /> applicant must reside in the Town of Mashpee for rr'nirnum of nine <br /> months. Additional eligibility requirements were discussed. It was noted <br /> the applicant must sign a written agreement to voluntarily contribute <br /> towards savings realizing the intended contribution could end after twelve <br /> months. <br /> It is hopeful the prograrn would become successful. The funding would <br /> be offend under the CPA for one year unless the CPC acknowledges the <br /> benefit to renew the program for an additional year. <br /> It was agreed Ms. Botsford would obtain further informationa ar ing the <br /> contractual agreement, and requirements associated to the Trental assistance <br /> program for additional review and consideration.. <br /> LD BUSINESS: - } <br /> Catherine Laurent—Hejtgge.Park: <br /> Catherine Laurent, Director of public works presented an updated budget <br /> to the CPC relative to' Phase II of the Heritage Park field expansion <br /> project. work is noted to be progressing and on task. Included in the <br /> budget is additional work approved by the CPC for the construction of <br /> four dugouts,a cost of$8,000. <br /> Approximately$70,000 is remaining and the follow ng projects were <br /> requested to supplement the Heritage Park project approved by CPA. <br /> funding at the May 2007 Town Meeting. <br /> Additional projects include the installation of a playground and a security <br /> system. Available funding would support the two prciject proposals. <br />
