Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> April 7. 2009 <br /> A PDINT1 E1 T S AND HEARINGS: <br /> John L. West—Affordable le o s lieation: <br /> John and Cynthia West of 26 Russell Road were before the CPC to request <br /> funding consideration for the sale of land for affordable housing. The <br /> propel is identified on Assessor's Map 120 as Parcel 29. The amount of <br /> CAC funding request is$55,000. <br /> The application dated January 6, 2009 is a re-submission from the initial <br /> CPA funding request dated October 9, 2008 for funding consideration at <br /> the May 2009 Town Meeting. In December of 2008,the Comm nity <br /> Preservation Committee voted to deny the application as a result of the <br /> following; a letter of support was not received from Habitat for Humanity <br /> prior to deliberations,and as a result of correspondence from the Building <br /> Inspector dated December 8, 2008 which disclosed the subdivision of the <br /> land is legal,however, the lot, 11,642 square feet which was created by <br /> the owner is un-buildable as it does not meet the Town's bylaw pertaining <br /> to size requirements. Current zoning requires a mimmum minimumof 40,000 square <br /> feet. <br /> The updated application submitted to the CPC Committee contained a <br /> later of intent from Habitat for Humanity dated January 13, 2009 <br /> expressing interest in submitting a proposal for the development of an <br /> affordable house on the subject real property. The process would require <br /> the issuing of an RFP for the development of an affordable house that <br /> would quali <br />
