3 <br /> Community Preservation Cottee . <br /> Minute's <br /> December-13,201-1 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: <br /> i <br /> LeilaBotsford/Adrienne Danner— Acres on free Acres ' ion ro'ect: <br /> Leila Botsford, Executive Director of the Mashpee Hou mng Authority was i <br /> attendance with Adrienne Danner,the Project Manager Housing Development <br /> Department of the Hous*mgAssistance Corporation(HAC)to discuss the Breezy <br /> Acres Expansion project with members of the Community Preservation i <br /> Cottee. <br /> The Breezy Acres complex located at 570 Old Barnstable Road,Mashpee <br /> presently consists of gree duplexes,'a total of six units of affordable rental family <br /> housing managed by the Mashpee Housing Authority. <br /> ty. <br /> The Co nunity Preservation Con nittee in May of 2007 and in October of 2007 <br /> contributed$450,000 in CPA f coding to allow the Housing Authority to move <br /> forward with the creation of ten new units of affordable rental family housing i <br /> perpetuity at the subject site location. <br /> Ms. Danner,HAC Project Manager was pleased to announce that a funding <br /> commitment letter from the Development of Housing and Community <br /> Development DHC and the Mate Affordable Housing Frust(AHT) fund was <br /> recently obtained. Both Ms. Danner and Mrs. Botsford expressed appreciation to <br /> the Community Preservation Committee for the CPA award which helped to <br /> leverage funding in a highly competitive process. <br /> It was noted that Mashpee was the only town on the Cape to receive DHCD and <br /> MA Mousing Partnership funding during this past round.
