Minutes of the October 155 2002 meeting were approved. Motion made by Maureen <br /> and seconded by Lola. _ <br /> II. Treasurer was absent so no financial report was available. The grants progress report <br /> was tabled until Joan can attend and provide financial details. Ann has taken over a <br /> chair. She has not gotten any files yet from Jim. She would like to set aside space in a <br /> filing cabinet at the Archives for the records of previous years of grant awards by the <br /> Cultural Council. Ann will check with Jim to see what records he has to pass along to <br /> her. <br /> III Old Business <br /> . Arta is waitin to tally ,dim and Joan about the completion of the last grant cycle. <br /> g <br /> Neither could attend the meeting, so information was not available today. <br /> B. website access- Ann asked if anyone had tried to get into the MCC website since <br /> the last meeting- No one had visited it since last rneetrng when Joan told the <br /> conunittee she received something with a virus from the website. <br /> C. 1 AAS —Ann will check on the status of the committee's vote to join MAAS . <br /> Joan canp rovide information if a check has gone out.for membership. <br /> D. Grant review—Twelve applications were accepted and four were rejected. One <br /> application was received after the deadline and didn't contain a copy of the <br /> application G. Barrett Swing Orchestra). Jing returned Mashpee Arti-arras to Pat <br /> Pry before the deadline because it wasn't typed_ This application was not <br /> resubmitted. Trinity Christian Academy was returned because the application <br /> lacked a signature and the cover letter did not arrive with the application. Kieran <br /> Quinn vias rejected because the application was not typed, was illegible and was <br /> not submitted to the Selectmen"s Office as specified in the grant announcement. <br /> review of the twelve applications followed.
