Conservation Commission <br /> ,rFebru4ry 1 , 1992 <br /> Page 4. <br /> 7:45 FELTY BOSSHARD for construction of a five bedroom dwelling with raised deck, <br /> patio on grade, and attached garage at Loot 177 Pimlico Pond Road. Mario Diregorio <br /> and Roger M e ish presenting. The plan is slightly modified to show a handicap <br /> ramp access. Abutter receipts were presented. It is a significant woodland area <br /> with Beech and Holly trees. It is on the critical habitat atlas. It is planned to <br /> spare any sigruficant trees from destruction. A permeable crushed stone driveway is <br /> proposed and attached garage and deck. It will have a- walkout basement with patio <br /> on grade. The resource area is Wakeby Pond with a very clear break at the top of <br /> the nicely wooded slope. There will be a few hollies that will have to be sacrificed. <br /> Jim Ingram will supervise the protection of gees which will be fenced and posted. <br /> There will be limited Jibing up for view. Where is a 50 foot setback from the top <br /> of the inland bank. It is 78 feet from the corner of the house to the inland bank. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if the boarding of the trees is in the narrative? It was noted <br /> it is an appendix to .the narrative, " DBH diameter at breast height. They do not <br /> have an actual number of gees some hollies are • <br /> o�.ng to be transplanted. some <br /> of the hollies are a century old. They are not increasing rmoff.. The dri reway <br /> and turn-around will be gravel; they are trying to keep runoff contained in the <br /> limit of work. The only real change is the ramp on the side f the house, it is <br /> 65 feet from theop o the bank. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated any retaining wall in excess of 5 feet must have an engineered <br /> plan. <br /> Mr, Homeyer asked the material to be used for the patio's Mr. Bosshard stated he <br /> would comply with anything recommended by' the Commssion, It was suggested he use <br /> brick set in sand. <br /> Mrs. Simmons stated drywells are not located on the plan. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers would like to see location and quantity and felt at least 3 - <br /> were necessary. <br /> It was noted the Board of health is waiting for DEP review of the sewer ejector. <br /> Mr. Bosshard advised it will be agree bedroom house, not five, although the <br /> design -will accept five. <br /> Mrs. Simons asked if the shed will remain? Mr. Bosshard spoke with his neighbor <br /> and he will remove the portion that is on his property. Mrs. Simmons stated if he <br /> does move it, he will have to let the Commission know. <br /> Public comments were requested; here were none* <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested prion to conditioning, he will meet onsite with Jim Ingram. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close upon receipt of the Board of Health decision <br /> and a plan showing retaining wall and drywells. <br /> :00 SERVICE for a Determination of Applicability on an <br /> After-The-Fact filing for removal of Hurricane damaged trees and uprooted suunps <br /> at 87 Horseshoe Bend WayM <br /> No one appeared for th is hearing. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised they appealed the fine and then paid it, not to the town but to <br /> the court. He suggested another enforcement order. <br />
