Zeppenfeld had requested a continuance. He was not <br /> present. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested a hearing be granted within twenty one days of receipt of the <br /> calcs of the vernal pool boundaries and road drains. <br /> Dom: Motion made and seconded to grant a hearing within 21 days after receipt of <br /> the calculations of the vernal pool boundaries and the road drains. <br /> 8:31 CAPE COD COMMSSION1. application received from Craig Griffeth to install .3 <br /> monitoring wells for ground water studies off 71 Monomoscoy Road, 8 Seconset Island <br /> Road, and one in Hamblin's Pond. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised this is associated with the study ongoing with Waquoit Bay in <br /> order to determine ground water flow. The sites have been viewed. The wells will <br /> have minimal impact and can be drilled in one day. Vere is concern for Osprey k. <br /> nesting and t=O i ng of the drilling ofone of the wells. Before they go in, the <br /> Agent will meet with Craig Griffith and they will keep off the bank. They will <br /> monitor each one. if haybles are needed, they will put them in. <br /> Mr. Griffeth advised two wells are going to be installed on Seconset Road and <br /> Mrs. Koch's property. Drilling will be accomplished from the back of a truck 1 <br /> with minim disturbance. The well in Hamblin's Pond will 'be dome from a lift. � <br /> They can go in ten feet of water; the shaft will be pounded in. <br /> Mr. Griffith showed contour raps. The wells are Important as they have very little <br /> information about ground water flog in and around the base. This study is being <br /> funded by DEP. His work will tie in with another study with foods Hole re nitri.gen <br /> loading. <br /> VM: Motion made and seconded to issue a negative determination based on the <br /> Conservation Agent meeting with Craig Griffith to determine the exact sites <br /> and receipt will be provided of nailing to IEP. <br /> A copy of the newspaper advertisement will be sent to CCC. <br /> TEE 1 DGATM D ERHUA 'I NS. <br /> EL THOMAS/DOLVIM MINS for the construction and maintenance of a s talrway, <br /> pier, ramp and float for joint use by 57 & 63 Frog Pond Mose. Mike Borselli o <br /> H01mes & McGrath presenting. Permission is requested to construct a fixed pier, <br /> ramp't stairway and float. Issues were discussed with the Agent regarding the pier. <br /> The most favorable location is just off the lot line to avoid trees. The float is <br /> for loading and unloading, Mr. Mohns has a 14 ft. boat, Mr. Thomas has a 22 F t. <br /> boat and there is also a dinghy. <br /> There is an area of significant vista pruning done by Mr. Mohns which is a serious <br /> problem. ''Litigation is planned by planting of the potentially eroding areas. <br /> There is a stairway that used to lead to an old dock that no longer will be used.. <br /> Plantings shown on the plan were suggested by Susan Hofer, Registered Arborist. <br />
