• Conservation Commission
April 9, 1992
Page 1 .
Re changes in water hazards. Ms F,,rinto=i did not feel a filing was
necessary. An earlier photo was shown of the area. Hole #2 is to be enlarged.
There is no wetland within the 100 foot buffer and it is not connected to the
ground water table. There is a provision about size in the bylaw. It is man
made. A portion of the bank will be incorporated. It receives water from run-
off and is fed by the irrigation system.
There are three water hazards in a row in an area most southerly; two are connected
by a culvert. They would like to connect a buried pipe to equalize how water is
held. They are all on the right hand side of the road. They have been in a istance
since the building of the course.
Mr, Sherman stated the natural vegetation is very sparse.
Mrs. Fudala asked the amount of water held by these hazards?
r
Ms Fantoi advised they hold 4,725 s.f. , 6,800 s.f. and the largest is 25,000
s.f. Clarification is sought under the bylaw.
ARBORIST: Invoice submitted for review.
: Motion made and seconded to pay Ellis Allem $120.00.
: Motion made and seconded to accept the minutes of February 1 ,
February 20, February 27, Manch 1 , and March 26, 1992 as written.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
r
Diana M.
