Mr. Gray
stated it is three feet at the end at Mean Low Nater. There are two boats,
a 13 foot Boston Whaler with a 40 hp outboard and a 21 foot Mako with a 20 hp
outboard. If they started the engine
with the stem to shore, they would get some wash.
Mr. Gray stated piles proposed are 8 inch timber rather than galvanized steel.
Mr. Homeyer asked if 80 gauge PVC was ever a consideration?
Mr. Desrosiers asked how they will be put in and was told they will be driven.
Mr, Sherman stated the filing did not include a penni ssion to access form or
the attestation of ownership.,
Mr. Gray advised a letter was received from Natural Heritage that it is not in
the district. He signed the access form for the Commission.
The Agent will confer with Paul Somerville concerning this property.
Public comments were requested; there were none.
VOTE: Motion rade and seconded to close the hearing pending a report from
the ex-shellfish warden, Paul Somerville, on the shellfish habitat.
CLOM EMIW,
9:15 David C, White for a Determination of Applicability on the proposed replace-
ment of two mooring piles on an existing dock licensed by Chapter 91 at 8 Chart
Way, Mr. White presenting.
Mr. Sherman stated he has no objections to replacement of piles but the plan has
been changed; there are two floats.
Mr, White intents to file under the Amnesty provision for the change, but that
sloes not affect this filing.
