There <br /> was no one present for any discussion. <br /> NEW SEABI CO. for an Amended order under DEP filing SSE 43-913, Dune rest- <br /> oration, Lot 1379 Shore Drive. Brian Zeppenfeld presenting. Approval was received <br /> for the project but the community in Popponesset objected. They have worked to <br /> appease thea. Plans have been revised. It was not a wetland issue that the object- <br /> ions were about,. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if the pathway will remain open.as requested? <br /> Mr. Zeppenfeld stated they have a problem with the foot path and that is why they <br /> wanted plantings. A letter from Michael Grot ke was read into the record requesting <br /> the Amended Order. The appeal will be withdrawn by the objector's attorney with the <br /> acceptance of this Amended order. They wanted to be assured the opening would not <br /> be closed off to then. <br /> A Sandy Beach Association letter was read by Mrs. Simons that reiterated what was <br /> stated by Mr. Zeppen.feld. <br /> Concerning the trees cut, Mr. Sherman asked if they will be replaced <br /> Mr. Zeppenfeld stater this i the second time this has happened; he has not heard <br /> anything about replacement. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated it should at least be required that they be removed. He did not <br /> feel it was unfair to ask there to plant trees that will grow back, perhaps Cedar. <br /> He agreed the trees cut were not on this lot. He would like to see another tree <br /> go in there, at least one. <br /> Public comments were requested; there were none, <br /> Mr. Zeppenfeld asked if he could get back to the Commission with what the company <br /> would like to plant? He wi'11 call tomorrow. <br /> V'E: Lotion rade and seconded to close the hearing upon receipt of planting <br /> input from New Seabury re what plantings they would consider. <br /> Q ED PE DIW, <br /> Mr. Zeppenfeld asked to continue Aunt Jane's Road, scheduled for 8:00 this evening, <br /> It was agreed to continue this to July 9 at 8:05 p.m. <br /> 7:00 MAMOP VILIAGE CONDC@ENIM TRUST for a Determination of Applicability t on the <br /> p y <br /> removal and relocation of an existing picket fence at Maushop Village. Norman Mayes <br /> presenting. Parts of the fence had fallen over the top of the hank and there was <br /> concern for people falling over the edge so an emergency order was -issued. It was <br /> expected that they would come back to relocate the fence so as not to destabilize <br /> the bank. <br /> Firs.
