' MAIMME, COM ATIo OMMSSION <br /> Minutes of .Tune 25, 1992 <br /> Cmms ioner present: Harry Desrosiers, Gertrude Simmons, Kathleen 'Terrio,- <br /> F'rank Homeyer. <br /> John Johansen, a candidate for membership on-the Commission was present also. <br /> The period for public comment was called to order at 6:55 p.m. with no one <br /> wishing to make any cor encs. <br /> r <br /> BUODWMS ASX., to remove a tuber bulkhead, instal ion <br /> of a 36 ft. timber wall; repaving of road surface and the installation of stone <br /> riprap seaward of the wall at Wilson Grove Reservation. Michael McGrath presenting. <br /> Buried beneath is a stone layer to protect the gall. The coastal beach and coastal <br /> bank Will be impacted. The beach will be regraded to the same elevation. amp <br /> is shown on the center line, a request was made to submit a revised plan moving <br /> the ramp to the property line. <br /> Mrs. Simmons asked if additional sand will be required? Mr. McGrath stated there <br /> will be ars adequate amount of sand when the toe stones are put in. Equipment will <br /> .not be on the beach; work will be dome from the road. <br /> Public comments were called for; there were none. <br /> Mrs. Terrio asked how long to complete the project and was told two weeks. <br /> Mr. Sherman did not forsee any adverse impact from the project. <br /> Motion made and seconded to close upon receipt of the revised plan showing <br /> a change of position for the ramp. <br /> To BE CU)SED UFON REC= of REVISM PLM, <br /> :lo ERWIN BUILIANT to permit an existing stairway, dock, ramp, float and pilings <br /> at 43 Little Neck Road. Steve Filson presenting. <br /> Mrs. Simmons stated she knows the Brilliants personally and will step dawn if the <br /> Commission or the applicant would like. Mr. Wilson and the commission had no <br /> objection to Mrs. Simons sitting. It was noted, if she stepped down, there <br /> would be no quote, <br /> Mr. Nilson advised an Amnesty license is bung sought. They bought the House in <br /> 1987 and the dock was there. Board of Appeals approved the special permit last <br /> night* There is a 14-15 f t, Cat boat with 4-5 BP motor to get out with that uses <br /> the dock. <br /> Mrs. Sirmnons stated access for the public along the shoreline should be provided; . .:. <br /> are steps to be put in? <br /> Mr. Wilson stated they could be, if it is wished. It is mostly salt marsh out to <br /> the end of the fixed structure. It is low on the marsh and can be gotten around <br /> r over. <br /> Mrs. Su* mons stated it is all muck in that area. Stairs in the fixed structure <br /> will encourage people to walk in the marsh. <br /> &. Wilson stated if Chapter 91 should require stairs, they will return to the <br /> Commission.
