John Johansen, a candidate for membership on-the Commission was present also. The period for public comment was called to order at 6:55 p.m. with no one wishing to make any cor encs. r BUODWMS ASX., to remove a tuber bulkhead, instal ion of a 36 ft. timber wall; repaving of road surface and the installation of stone riprap seaward of the wall at Wilson Grove Reservation. Michael McGrath presenting. Buried beneath is a stone layer to protect the gall. The coastal beach and coastal bank Will be impacted. The beach will be regraded to the same elevation. amp is shown on the center line, a request was made to submit a revised plan moving the ramp to the property line. Mrs. Simmons asked if additional sand will be required? Mr. McGrath stated there will be ars adequate amount of sand when the toe stones are put in. Equipment will .not be on the beach; work will be dome from the road. Public comments were called for; there were none. Mrs. Terrio asked how long to complete the project and was told two weeks. Mr. Sherman did not forsee any adverse impact from the project. Motion made and seconded to close upon receipt of the revised plan showing a change of position for the ramp. Mrs. Simmons stated she knows the Brilliants personally and will step dawn if the Commission or the applicant would like. Mr. Wilson and the commission had no objection to Mrs. Simons sitting. It was noted, if she stepped down, there would be no quote, Mr. Nilson advised an Amnesty license is bung sought. They bought the House in 1987 and the dock was there. Board of Appeals approved the special permit last night* There is a 14-15 f t, Cat boat with 4-5 BP motor to get out with that uses the dock. Mrs. Sirmnons stated access for the public along the shoreline should be provided; . .:. are steps to be put in? Mr. Wilson stated they could be, if it is wished. It is mostly salt marsh out to the end of the fixed structure. It is low on the marsh and can be gotten around r over. Mrs. Su* mons stated it is all muck in that area. Stairs in the fixed structure will encourage people to walk in the marsh. &. Wilson stated if Chapter 91 should require stairs, they will return to the Commission. They are asking for maintenance. 3
