Conservation Commission
May 1 , 1991
Page .
Ms Behan reviewed the plan for water depths. Mr. Schulze stated he could only
assume Little River Boatyard, when they came to build the dock, got out to. . . . , .
(Ms Behrman asked that the record reflect Little River Boatyard did this dock).
Atty. Schulz qualified his statement, he called New York and was referred to
Kittle River Boat Yard as where the floats were stored and he could not attest
they were responsible for the actual construction work. They do deploy them in
the spring.
Ms Behnnan expressed concerns with plans in the past that had allegations of
water depths and then someone coring in- because the boats are bottoming out
because they dme't have the alleged water depth. The number and size of
the floats has been a source of comments by people coming in for new structures.
He agreed to a request from the agent to do a resource assessment and stated he
would like to know more about the boats and draft.
Mr, Desrosiers stated the original request was for 72 square feet of floats and
there is now before the commission 480 square feet, oo%, He would not vote for
licensing anywhere near that size.
Atty Schulze asked if it was preferable for the fixed structure to be extended
out further and some of the floats el n ted?
Mr. Homeyer stated the commi
