AN IK: Yes I think they would because at the last meeting that we had with Bob and the DEP on the other ease, that is exactly clearly what they were doing; they don't make easy moves to the right or left. That's my opinion; I may be mistaken. Take it up with Town Counsel but that is ray honest opinion on this issue. As far as dealing with the harbormaster, if you're going to deal with the harbormaster, then l would strongly recommend that he is going to have to review every single float because it has to be justifiably every single float, not just this one, I think that's another issue with the DEP too that if they say well, okay, we're not going to follow ghat our own regulations say, in this ease, because we're doing gage to the environment, then there would be all sorts of other eases that come up with the LEP so them is that problem. I W111 abstain from voting because I have this conflict of interest in this case but interested enough to sit in on it. MEYER: Is there any way we could possibly,. as we did with the last one, say that it falls under . . . . � meats all legal requirements but that we, as a Conservation Commission, abhor the location of it and the detriment that it is doing to the environment and that we are in a Catch 22 situation where we have to approve even though -we vehemently disapprove of it.
