Conservation Commission <br /> August 22, 1991 <br /> Page 2. <br /> It was agreed the long term solution is dredging. <br /> Mr. Somerville stated he does not want to see the creek become stagnant, The Bay <br /> does not have enough water to keep two frets going. He would like to see there <br /> o in and dredge, put it up on the beach, and something at wading Place. <br /> Accepted as policy from Dr. Aubrey's recommendations <br /> #1.. Monitor the evolution of the breach carefully. Nate its depth and water flow <br /> t low tide. <br /> 2. If the breach repairs itself over ash only at high water), then some additional <br /> sand can be placed to widen the beach and to raise its elevation, to help prevent <br /> further breaching. Approximately 1200 cubic yards or more of sand would be needed to <br /> build up the beach to the level of the beach adjacent to it. <br /> Tim Mahala and Ji O'Connell to be asked to cone down and cornment. <br /> VOM: Motion made and seconded that the Comrssion recommend #1 and #2 of Dr. Aubrey's <br /> recommendations and solicit input from the state. <br /> The Co ssion would support the town in looking for funds to do dredging. <br /> Paul Somerville to contact Rep. whir. A letter from the Commission to be seat also. <br /> Mr. Hom.e rer stated he will encourage the waterways Comission to look into this. <br /> ENFORCE=: <br /> CE= <br /> Bayview Condos: Trees cut unnecessarily, walkway startedA silt fence to be <br /> installed. Enforcement order to be issued. <br /> Donovan: Trees being cut on the bank. It was agreed $100 fine to be levied <br /> and paid bill to be provided from the landscaper for the replacement <br /> of the trees. <br /> VUKE: Motion made and seconded that trees be replaced by a professional <br /> landscaper, after approval by the Agent, no later than the third <br /> week in September and maintained for a period of two years. <br /> NANCY MTTC IL: RDA filed with letter refusing to pay fee. Response to be <br /> drafted by sus'ana kik. <br /> Utter received from New sbury re coastal storm damage. <br /> UfE: lotion rade and seconded to ask Kevin Harrington for a temporary clerk <br /> during the storm emergency. <br /> D .AET CONNITTEE GUIDELINES: Mr, Coffey will draft a letter for the Commission <br /> review. <br /> The Chairman suggested an additional meeting be scheduled for next week. This <br /> was agreed. <br /> The Agent requested permission to refuse appointments other than storm related <br /> damage. Permission was granted, <br />
