Louise Behr an, Chairman Pro Teri; Patrick Coffer
Harry Desrosiers; Duncan York.
Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent, was present also.
7:30 Vincent Porclelto, Jr. , 38 wheelhouse Lane, Continued hearing.
CONTINUED TO ALUM 232 1990 AT REQUEST OFTSE A PUCMr.
7:31 Jamie Degan - Interview: Mr. Regan was not present and had not called.
A quorum was reached at 7:50 p.m. upon arrival of Patrick Coffey,
7;45 Panaiotis & Georgia Zafiropoulos, to rebuild and maintain a wooden dock
using existing ramp and float construction of steps and mcKli ication of an
existing walkway at 39 Fiddler Crab Lane. Dave Sanicki of Cape & Islands
Surveying presented abutter receipts and an expanded plan to show surrounding
facilities. This was an unlicensed facility with an Enforcement Order and a
Cease & Desist ordered. The stairway will be rebuilt in accordance with plans
and will have proper clearance. Submission was rade to the Board of Appeals
and the special permit was approved last night.
Mr. Sherman advised that along with the illegal dock situation vegetation was
taken down on the bank which has come back and is no longer a concern. As an
after-tie-Fact filing, the polio has been that town fees are doubled, He
stated he was remiss in not contacting Mr, Samicki when the project was filed.
Mr. Sanicki agreed to provide the additional monies before the order of Conditions
is issued.
Mr. Coffey expressed concern with the 8 x 12 float sitting in the mud.
Mr. Sanickii advised they are putting in extensions so that it will not sit in
the mud. The dock is used for a small pram. He stated if the Commission wishes,
the float could be downsized in the order.
Paul Somerville advised there are no shellfish resources, or eel grass, in the
area and saw no problem with the structure. The use is self-luting.
Ms Behrm n suggested, as maintenance is being requested, if the float is replaced,
it then be downsized.
Mr. Desrosiers asked Mr. Somerville's opinion on the size of the dock; 8 x 12
does not seem that large.
. Somerville stated it is less than 100 sq. ft, and he did not feel it is
excessive. 4
Mr. Coffey asked what will change from theas-built? Mr. Sam4cki advised the
stairway will be raised to clearance tolerances; posts are in the ground.
Mr. Coffey suggested it be conditioned to be disassembled as necessary to avoid
impact on the marsh.
Mr. Sanicki stated Mr. Zafiropoulos understands what has to be done. There are
five bays; they will pick up one at a time. It can be conditioned to be raised
in sections.
