-' Conservation Coffnission <br /> October +, 1990 <br /> Page 7. <br /> NM FSS: The Chairman advised he telephoned Sargent Mace on 9/29 to ask when <br /> his report could be expected which was due by 10/1. <br /> On 1.0/1 Chief Frye agreed to look into this; it has been two months since the <br /> original request to Chief Frye. <br /> TOWN 1.1m ARTICLES: The Chairman apologized for his presentation of the articles. <br /> The Commission agreed, with the tome of the meeting, the presentation was not at <br /> fault, <br /> CHAPTER 1: The new regulations have been received with filing material. A con- <br /> densation of the amnesty provision ,anal forms will be made available. <br /> Ms La nik suggested there should be a disclaimer that the Commission is not represent- <br /> ing the state. <br /> It was noted: Former Harbormaster Chester Koblinsky estimated them are 900 <br /> structures in 'Mashpee, 200 licensed. <br /> LED TURO: Arshag Meguerian came forward. He had raised four issues in his first <br /> letter and made Four suggestions in his second. He took his drawings to the Board <br /> of Health. He showed how the lot related to the flood zone. Slopes are shown, <br /> water runs down, ; it is very pervious.. The driveways are at the lowest level. <br /> He stated this area will be contaminated at some future date. overloading of the <br /> land must be a concern to the Comnussion. He is at the lowest level. <br /> Mr. blerguerian suggested asking people to put drywells n their property. He <br /> alsog uestioned if it is correct for someone to put dock in the wetlands and <br /> advised during the last three years, one has been placed at the neck of the river. <br /> He will provide the name of the owner. <br /> Mr. Coffey offered to meet Mr. Merguerian at his property to discuss his concerns. <br /> Mr <br /> Croto of New Sea ave information on a treatment Swale; shallow veget- <br /> ated <br /> g <br /> ated grass swale for runoff. <br /> COASTAL F. IMMION MORKSMP: The agent will attend. <br /> OCTOBER=: The Commission was contacted to see if they would participate with <br /> table. Due to the lack of lead time, it was not possible. To be considered <br /> next year, <br /> MAY TOWN MEETING TIS: Attorney General approval has been received re the <br /> Consultants Article; Town Accountant is not in favor of this. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised the Conservation Fund would be a good place to roll funds <br /> in and out. He suggested a meeting with a member of the Commission, the Agent <br /> Executive Secretary and Town Accountant. <br /> CRANBERRY PAIS: Stearns stated the appraisal would be in hand this week. <br /> A parcel has been received from the uxbury Conservation Agent who has experl.ence <br /> in cranberry leases, To be reviewed. <br /> Mr. Coffey advised the Quashnet is completely blocked where it heads to the bogs. <br /> Tentative approval has been received to have a landscaper come in with a machine <br /> to clear it, He asked if the Commission would approve dispersal from Conservation <br /> funds for this repair. <br /> Motion made and seconded to approve expenditure for this repair.
