The first three <br /> contain vegetation which supplies a very important stability factor. The salt <br /> marsh has been degraded and damaged and to some part destroyed by the existing <br /> structure. It would be appropriate for the Commission to ask for compensation <br /> for the damage. The existing Moat has rested on the bottom in periods of <br /> low tide affecting shellfish. other issues a r the organisms, fin f i sly t <br /> habitat, food for wildlife. It is presumed to be significant. There is a <br /> lot of water velocity in this location and it is favorable for the filter <br /> feeders to obtain food, putting in a structure will change that.
