Conservation commission <br /> April B, 1994 <br /> Page 4. <br /> 8:45 JACK SULLIVAN, to complete a partially constructed deck 8 complete) <br /> on an existing dwelling at Lot 14 Redwood circle. George Thorng presented <br /> abutter receipts and an as built plan. He stated he met with the Agent and <br /> Ernie Virgilio at the site and the staled haybales they requested by put in <br /> immediately have been shown on the plan. Mr. Sullivan has been out of the <br /> state and unreachable. <br /> Mr. Coffey stated two years ago Mr, Sullivan was asked to install a raised <br /> edge of scalloped granite on the river side. <br /> Mr. Thorng stated it was in October of 1988. It is not the job of the engineer <br /> to construct the project. <br /> Mr, Coffey stated he was informing the engineer the Commission has a problem <br /> getting compliance, <br /> It was suggested Mr. Thorng contact Kevin Kirran . <br /> Mr. Coffey advised the drainage in the area is not adequate; the house has been <br /> the subject of sedimentation lower down in the flume. <br /> Mr, Thorng stated there are two catch basins that are failing and over-topping <br /> the bank, creating erosion into the river. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised Mr. Sullivan is willing to put that in if guaranteed the <br /> house is saleable. He has no problem with the deck, per se. <br /> Mr. Thorng referred to an agreement Mr* Sullivan rude that the siltation into <br /> the river would be cleared. it was noted the $5,000 has not been paid and <br /> the cost to clean up could be considerably more. <br /> Mr. Thorng asked if an enforcement order could be written by the Commission <br /> and was told it could be. <br /> Bill Murray, an abutter on Lot 22, stated the pipe going into the river is <br /> plugged up. He gage background on the project and stated he would like to <br /> see the house finished; it is a fire hazard. <br /> Janice Mills, abutter, expressed the same concerns and stated Lot 15 is <br /> swamp when it rains. <br /> VOTE: Motion rude and seconded to authorize the con se rvat 1 on Agent to send <br /> a letter to Town Counsel and Jack Sullivan in care of Kevin in I irrane. <br /> If the concerns are not addressed within 30 days the Commission will <br /> institute proceedings. <br /> CONTINUED TO MAY 31 , 1990 - 8: 15 P.M. <br /> 9:00 HIGH OOD WATER, Daniel 's Island Road, continued hearing, No one appeared <br /> for this hearing. Mr. Sherman advised he had a telephone conversation with them <br /> 10 days ago and was told someone would attend. The work was started this week. <br /> CONTINUED TO MAY 1 , 1990 � 7:45 P.M. <br /> 9: 15 BERNARD GREENE, Request for Determination of Applicability on a proposal <br /> for the placement of a sono tube for a proposed screened porch at Lot 14B, 1 <br /> and 16 Clover Lane. George Thorng presenting. Tinis is a screened porch en- <br /> closement with sono tube supports to be dub by hand. It is 47 feet from the <br /> top of the bank. <br />
