April 11 ,, 1990 <br /> Page 12. <br /> 15 FRANK D . H ME ER, for a Determination of Applicability <br /> on a proposal for the resetting of pilings and any related <br /> dock repair at 13 Mariner, 3 404 Monomoscoy Road. <br /> Mr. Homeyer presented abutter receipts . He advised 1 <br /> pilings were lifted and he asked what the board desired with <br /> regard to resetting the pikes . There are 4 X 4 ' s and one <br /> telephone pole size that can be driven back in. Previous <br /> paper work on the project was reviewed. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested that the location of the pilings be red <br /> penciled in on the plan and asked what the term "any related <br /> dock repair" meant. <br /> Mr. Homeyer stated it would be the replacement of any of the <br /> planking that has rotted out. This does not have to be <br /> addressed by the Commission . <br /> fir. Coffey stated with the guidance the Commission has <br /> received and the fact that they haven ' t lifted out <br /> completely, there is not a high performance standard. <br /> Mr, Sherman stated it could he a negative determination i <br /> just redriving piles that are lifted and not out. <br /> Mr. Coffey asked how the pilings are attached. <br /> Mr. Homeyer advised the pilings are driven in right against <br /> the wall , them is nothing actually ho-ldin g the dock back, <br /> they sit on the pilings . When the ice lifts the pilings, the <br /> dock comes back with it. He advised they will be coning in <br /> for a dredging permit because they are no longer 3 feet below <br /> the wall . <br /> Ir. Halpern suggested an Ice Eater be installed . - <br /> Mr. <br /> nstalled . -Mr. Coffey askedif it is proposed to expand on the 90 fee <br /> from 1-.IH r by 30 feet wide . <br /> Mr. Homeyer stated when originally permitted, it was allowed <br /> to fill and leave 10 feet of the marsh around this pier; at <br /> present they are almost that deep . <br /> There were no comments from the Commission or the public . <br /> VOTE : Motion made and seconded to issue a negative <br /> determination to Frank D . Homeyer. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION <br /> 9 : 30 VINCENT 'OROIELLO, JR. , 30 Wheelhouse Lane . <br /> CONTINUED TO HAY 3 l , l _ 9 : 00 AT THE REQUEST OF THE <br /> APPLICANT . <br />
