Conservation Commission <br /> .dune 28, 1990 <br /> Page 4 . <br /> to talk to Paul Somerville and brad Barr of CM for interpretation. <br /> The commission was in agreement that more information was required. <br /> Mr . Hayes asked if the Commission would like more information on <br /> what would happen at extreme low water ; will the vessel or Moat <br /> bottori out. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he does not Feel the issue of the float bottoming <br /> out is the only issue. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers referred to the shellfish study wherein it stated the <br /> existing float has crushed Bluecrabs and trapped crabs . The float <br /> must have a direct impact on the bottom. <br /> Mr. Hayes agreed to find out the displacement of the anchors and to <br /> also provide the construction of the float . <br /> Mrs . Simmons asked the extent of the eel grass bed and was told it <br /> is 10 of the area, per the shellfish report . <br /> Asked if the shellfish report reflected the former location of the <br /> float or the present one, Mr. Hayes stated it is as it is shown on <br /> the plan. At least % of the shellfish he recovered were dead, <br /> they had mautred and were covered with siltation. <br /> Mrs . Simmons asked the number of boats to be moored here? <br /> Mr. York stated the mooring permit specifies the size boat and that <br /> the size would , not be increased. He advised the eel. grass line does <br /> not coincide with the shellfish report . <br /> Mr. Hayes stated it is a difference of 10 feet , Mr. York stated he <br /> would rather see it out of the eel grass . <br /> Noted that the harbormaster permit is renewed yearly. <br /> HEARING CONTINUED TO JULY 2 , 1990 - 7 : 45 P.M. <br /> 8 :00 MILTON GLASS, 19 F'eils Pond Circle, continued hearing. No one <br /> was present to represent Mr. Glass . Discussion ensued as to what <br /> course of action to pursue. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue to a date certain with <br /> a very strong letter to Mr. Glass that this is the last <br /> opportunity. <br /> CONTINUED TO JULY 26 , 1990 - P.M. <br /> 8 : 15 HIGHWOOD WATER CO, Popponesset Island, Continued hearing, <br /> Dave Rich provided revised copies of the Notice of Intent . <br /> 1t was noted this is being heard only under the Local Bylaw. <br /> The intent was to install underneath the bridge on a temporary basis . <br /> There will be a utility bay on the new bridge and the main will be <br /> installed within.Approaches are complete and paged. There will be <br /> a new Notice of Intent with every thing included. <br />
