i <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> June 28, 1 99 <br /> Page 6. <br /> haybale dike is proposed behind the small walkway, deck to existing deck. The <br /> only digging is for the 4 f t. frost wall pondside of the addition and will be <br /> completed first with material moved away from the pond. <br /> Mrs. Simmons stated the deck is not mentioned in the Notice of Intent. Mr. Thorng <br /> advised he included it as part of the addition. <br /> Mr. Coffey requested a note of that to be included as part of the record and Mr. <br /> Thorng agreed, He advised this has been approved by the Architectural Review <br /> Cottee; no variances are needed. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised, with the exception of indicating the structure of the deck, <br /> it meets all performance standards. <br /> Mr. Coffey stated, as no gutters are proposed, perhaps drywells should be required. <br /> It was noted it is very flat. and very vegetated on the lot. <br /> HEARING CLOSED - ORDER of CONDITIONS IN 21 DAYS, <br /> 9:00 GLORIA A. I ARIOTIS for the repair and replacement of PVC pile sleeves in <br /> ehu Fond for the placing of the seasonal pier approved under D.E.P. SF -1 , <br /> amended in D'.E.P, waterways license , at 10 Tide Run. Susan St,Pierre and <br /> Jamie Faye presenting. The history of the project was reviewed. An EIF has been <br /> filed with MEPA. <br /> Mr. Sherman pointed out D.E.P. Lakeville was consulted for guidance. The plan is <br /> the Plan of record which does have a Chapter 91 license, proof of which was provided. <br /> He had no concerns other than the D.E.P. number has not yet been received and the <br /> hearing cannot be closed. <br /> Ms St. Pierre requested the hearing be closed pending the receipt of the D.E.P <br /> number. <br /> Mr. Coffey asked if this request was for one season approval? <br /> Mr.' Faye stated they would like to make the Order appropriate for the seasonal pier <br /> and not have to return each year. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if they were requesting maintenance in perpetuity on the sleeves' <br /> Mr. Faye stated they are requesting language for yearly installation with notific- <br /> ation, <br /> Mr. Sherman stated if the D.E.P. number comes through with qualifications, they would <br /> have to be considered. <br /> Ms St. Pierre asked if there would be any special conditions <br /> Mrs. Simons stated they would be the standard dock conditions with maintenance, <br /> and that the sleeves would be driven, not jetted., <br /> Nor. Sherman advised the Shellfish warden will be consulted re the use of siltation <br /> screens. <br /> Mrs. Simmons asked if they would object if siltations screens were required <br /> Mr. Faye stated he guessed not. <br /> Mr. Coffey suggested, as an alternative, if agreeable to them, switch them to metal <br /> and drive them, <br />
