Conservation (omission <br /> November 8., 1990 <br /> Page 3. <br /> COThere was discussion of upgrading the computer with purchase of a board. <br /> Approximate cost of $400. The Commission agreed this was necessary and asked the <br /> Agent to investigate. <br /> Purchase of an Inclinometer at a cost of $70.00 was also approved. <br /> Formation of an Outreach Committee was discussed. <br /> Frank Homeyer volunteered to look into Commission use of the Cable Community Access <br /> channel. <br /> BUDGET: 1t has been suggested that dedicated funds will need to be used for expenses. <br /> The budget will be l acre 1 funded. The Agent is to set up a rye e t ing with the. F inanc e <br /> Committee and Kevin Harrington. <br /> CRANBERRY BOG APP .AIAppraisal has been received from Stearns Irrigation and is <br /> high* <br /> NEW FABUR - BEACH NCEM : The order of conditions proposed to be reviewed. <br /> -- EG: At anon-site with DLP, it was noted Rosa Rugosa in excess of that <br /> permitted has been planted. An RDA Will be required. <br /> A letter was read from Mr. Loge who had received a letter advising he had an <br /> illegal float. He Will. not put the float out in the future until permitted. <br /> The COMM-I Sion agreed ,this was satisfactory. <br /> Complaints have been received from the bog operators regarding vandalism. A Police <br /> report suggests more exterior lights, barriers or chain link fences. The Executive <br /> Secretary has requested Commission input, <br /> The Chairman will respond and questioned from where the .funds would come if the <br /> suggestions were to be considered* <br /> A letter was read from Rodney Pl.ankenberg concerning a violation. He i's asking <br /> the Commission to allow hire until spring to resolve the problems. He resides <br /> in Africa part of the year. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers suggested he should demonstrate he is, in good faith, looking for <br /> someone to do the work. <br /> It was suggested a list of names and addresses be provided for Mr. Blankenberg. <br /> Mr. ISherman stated revegetation should be done by the end of May 1991 and <br /> filing would have to be in by January. <br /> A letter to be sent. <br /> A list of workshops to be put on by DEP this coming year was distributed. <br /> BOB 91HIM: Chapter 91 is concerned that the floating dock approved by the <br /> commission is not elevated five feet; access is a concern. <br /> Mr. Homeyer advised it has pilings and is not a floating dock. <br /> The Commission agreed no Certificate of Compliance should be issued until Chapter- 91 <br /> is satisfied. Stairs were considered a solution by Mr, Gauthier and DEP. <br />
