I <br /> 1 <br /> 4 <br /> MASHPEE CONSERVATION014USS10 <br /> DATE: February 282 1979 Mashpee Town Mall <br /> TIME:: 'x:30 Pe-me <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman DeLory., with the following r e m <br /> bers in attendance: Dorothy Studley, Barbara Sloane, Charles Buckingham, Wayne <br /> Tavares and Jim LeClair. Norman Dias was absent. <br /> Mrs. DeLory brought up the subject of the budget which is to be submitted <br /> to the Finance Committee, stating that estimates have to be made. Ia t yearp <br /> the amounts allotted were: Expenses - 5.00; Secretary - $500.00# So far, <br /> $179.32 of the expense money has- been spent, with $9 •52 just to December. <br /> She mentioned postage, dues, miscellaneous books, codes of bylaws, etc. ,- Mrs. <br /> Studley said that if we need technical assistance, it comes out of the Technical <br /> Services Account. Mrs. DeLory estimated $100.00 for postage, $50.00 for dues., <br /> $40.00 for telephone, $200.00 for me.etingso Mrs* Muse sits in on Finance' meetae <br /> Ings and where there's a d `ference, they will cut ,it down. <br /> Not yet spent is the $105.00 for the File a- we meed a camera, map file, <br /> roto tape, film - it was mentioned that P laroid wouldn't take a picture 1 .tham <br /> out a flash and sun. Mr. LeClair said that if we get a better one, we would meed <br /> someone who knows what he's doing. Mr. Buckingham suggested pricing cameras with <br /> long and short lens. Mrs. DeLory said that she asked Joan Muse about the on er� <br /> vation Camp and Mrs. Muse said "yes",& <br /> Mrs. DeLory said that she had called and it is $25-00 - $100.00 for the tape <br /> it was suggested she order the one with the big wheel - they are sending her the <br /> brochure. Mrs. Studley said that Then Mrs. DeLory goes to Finance to be sure t <br /> remind then that some of that money has been spent and we haven't received the <br /> bills yet. It was suggested that Mrs. DeLory ask for more because of the increase <br /> in postage and because the money has to be distributed differently. It was mendmw <br /> tinned that wefve had more hearings since December than we have had all year. <br /> Mrs, Studley said that wetre going to have to take more training sessions on <br /> flood plain.
