Y <br /> F' <br /> 5 <br /> MASHPEE CONSERVATION C 1ISSION REGULAR 1EETING <br /> DATE; December 1 , 1977 Mashpee Town Hall <br /> TIME: 7:30 .M. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Studley, with the fo - <br /> lm*ring members 'resent: Barbara Sloane, Norman Dias, Charles Buckingham <br /> and Jim LeClair. <br /> Mr. LeClair made the comment that he was surprised that Morris Kirs-- <br /> ner wanted someone from the Massachusetts Conservation Commission and not <br /> the local Commission. Mrs. Studley said that all she knew was that Mr. <br /> Kirsner asked for the name of a local member to serve on the South Cape <br /> Beach Advisory Committee, Mr. LeClair said that he thinks someone from <br /> the local al C r i s s i on should be n the Committee. <br />.4 <br /> Mrs. Studley passed around performance appraisal forms for each of <br /> the members to fill out, regarding Ronald Pocknett. She also reported <br /> that she has had the Smith and Offen Orders sent out after she received <br /> letters from Lakeville. <br /> Mrs. Sloane asked about the Mendelson problem and yrs. Studley said <br /> that she turned it over to the Building Inspector and told him to remove <br /> it immediately. She doesn't know if it's been done yet - ter. Buckingham <br /> will check with Harold Collins. <br /> Mrs. Studley stated that uppermost in everybody's mind is this busi- <br /> ness <br /> u i- <br /> ne s with Ron. She got a telephone call last Tuesday morning., week ago., <br /> from fir. Hanson about the dogs and about Ronnie and she advised him to go <br /> directly to the Selectmen, because the Commission has had so many problems <br /> with him. She further stated that she didn't think any members of the Com- <br /> mission should get into it; it t s better for the Board of Selectmen to handle <br /> it. They were supposed to act on this yesterday (December 1 and Ron had <br /> promised the Selectmen that he would furnish a report to them and he had not <br /> dame so by noontime today. <br /> J <br /> She continued by saying that the Police Department has made an investi- <br /> gation and the report is finished, but not typed - the Selectmen will have <br /> it on Monday. She said she had, had 3 calls from the Secretary of the Per- <br /> sonnel Board to have the Commission make out this appraisal forma and she <br /> thought that s e would ask each of the members to make one out. She also <br /> said that they didn't have to sign it if they didn't want to. She Ssaid she <br /> would i e 6 different reports, 5 anyway. She said to let te powers that <br /> be take over in this particular situation, <br /> Mr. LeClair asked i <br />
