i
LWr
I
she called for the Dog Officer to come because a dog had gone through the
ice, She had tried to help with a rope and a plank and by the time that
she got there, the dog was gone. She told Ronnie who the dog belonged to
and asked him if he wanted her to get in touch with the people and he said
that he would do it. He never called the woman to tell her that the dog
had gone through the ice and died and when she called him on the phone, he
told her that he had had the dog cremated. He also
said that he carpi see pulling a -truck in between a dog and a deer}. He
said that the driver has to jump out of the truck., reach behind and pull
the rifle out of the bracket, load it and thea spot a dog 100 yams away.
Mr. LeClair thought it somehow impossible to see whether or not a dog had
a collar on.
Mr. Dias said that a person can always cut the dog off before the
deer; a deer can be about 300 yards ahead: of a dog; you could spot
g
way ahead. Mrs. Sloane., quoting loon at the Selectmen's meeting, "There's
about dogs being shot i
