Har
SE43-177
William & Helen McLatchy, Lot 6 Riverside Road, Seconsett Island, Mashpee
Pauline: Reads Public Hearing Notice' -- to put an addition of 9 Feet by 11
feet to existJmg dwellingnd to extend the existing deep 10 feet by 11 feet
located at Lot 6 Riverside Rd. within loo feet of Hamblin Pond.
The Board did not see any problems. , They recommended that the work area be&
confined within limits of 2 feet around perimeter of the deck.
10 P.M. ,N e ring
SE43- 187
Dr. Edward Tones, bot 33 Daniels Island Road
Agent: Wm. Warwick
Broken: Joan Muse
Pauline: Reads Public Hearing Notice -- to construct a singl a family residence
on an established lot located at Lot 33 Daniels Island Pd, within loo feet of
ockway Bay,
A The site plan is pretty self-explanatory. We feel that we have
tried to make a house which blends into the surroundings as much as possible.
We have met all existing zoning 'requirements with this plan. At one time, in
the past, we were contemplating a slightly larger house, we had gone to the
Board of Appeals for a variance. Wedidn't h v the type of hardship that they
were looking for. As a result, we have modified the plan. I think we, hopefully,
made it a little more appealing of a. plan at least from this Boards point of view.
The house is rather- long and narrow. It is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. You can
see on the site plan that we are 32 feet away from the marsh. We don't plan on
disturbing any of, the ground at least 20 to 22 Feet from the marsh. - we would like
to have 10 feet to work on the west edge of the Douse to get machines in there and
o forth. (Points out to the Board the corrections that we rade on the plan
32 feet being the correct figure and the placement of the septic system has roved
a, little bit). No filling is going to be required for this project. we would like
to have the landscaping be as natural as possible. we would, of course, like to
leave all the vegetation that we can. we would like to squeeze the house in among
the trees and leave undisturbed the area between the gest end of the house and the
water. The 20 feet we plan on leaving completely intact. The 10 feet wewould
like to have to get the machiftes in to get the job done.
Paulinet Does the Board have any questions?
Shirley: How big is the deck?
wa nes The- deck doesn't extend out to the water so it doesn't really make much
difference. How big was the original house?
Mike Jones: It was the same length as that but wider. It was 32 feet wide and
now it is 28 feet wide,
Wayne: is there a 15 foot setback?
Mikeones: Yes, , that is what is required.
