They do ,not show on <br /> the plan. on the plan, it shows where the backhoe went down 12 feet. They hit <br /> sand and ruck. There is a little bit of surface water that gets' naught in this <br /> muck and that is why when your dig down, you get a little bit of water. It is <br /> not ground water. It is surface water. As soon as you get through the muck, <br /> all you get is gravel and sand. we. gent down 40 Feet with a pile driver and all <br /> we took up was sand, We did the backhoe digging right where the septic tank is <br /> proposed. Also, we did five different test bores throughout the lot to see if <br /> the piling structure was a feasible thing. ' All we hit was sand all the way down. <br /> We have the house 40 Feet from the .road. We have to -have the leaching area 20 <br /> feet away from the house for the septic tank. The closest we are t the water i <br /> 2 feet from the bank and then there is a 3 or 4 root gravel area before you hit <br /> the water, We show 55 feet from the water to the nearest part of the house. <br /> .
