Hearing
 o2
Claire Click, Lot 63 Mtaco et Road -- Agent: Barwick and Wilkie
The Public Hearing notice was read -- to construct a three-bedroom dwelling at
Lot 63 Metacomet goad within 100 Feet of Great River.
Charlie: Asks where Meta.co et Road is located'
Mr. Warwick: States that it is j st below Little deck Bay. the lot is sizable*.
`here is about a half acre of land. If you will notice on the topographic plan,
th re is a, very decided bank which runs down to the river. The reason the house
is laid c lut as such is because the well is ir1 the house. 'she S ept10 sys t tyl is
13.5 feet away from the Wetlands. We haye done certain consultation with the ar hi-
tect. Shaws the Board rd the site plan. The architect- had steps extending do-"M to
the river, however, we talked him out of that. We asked him to keep them back up
onto the deck. We have tried to keep the limit of construction back From the bank.
The house has been staked for the 3card''s inspection.
Shirley: Does .the end of the deck go to the top of the bank?
Mr. War-wick: Yes, but the supports for the deck are well behind the deck. Tells
the Board that the steps extending from the deck on the corner near the bank will
not be there.
Shirley:- Asks why the house is so close to the bank if the lot is relatively large?
Mr. War-wick: It is because of the perimeter of the ad, ining wells and the septic
system. =fie wanted to get the septic system as far from Area t Riven as we possibly
could. We also wanted to stay within the permiters of 100 Feet From the wells.
could probably move it over, but that doesn't serve any p7arpose at all. We are
away from the wells across the street now, however, 1 don't know what happens i
we start moving the house. The other- aesthetics is the view of the project.
Charlie: Then whakin he !E5 I-o ki g 1'017 1.s the mast favorable view for his house.
Mr. Warwick: Absolutely, The Conservation Commission. is sup-Posed to take- into
consideration the aesthetics, Shows where ano t he17 horse 4i:5 located, If he raved
back any further, he would be looking into the back part of the other house,
t l
.X: Asks ghat kind of foundation the house will be on?
