DeLory, <br /> Vice Chairperson, Charles Buckingham, Wayne Tavares, March Dardano and <br /> Peter Durmer. <br /> Consultant Fees <br /> Chairperson tu.dley approved ed the payment of the bill from Interchange <br /> for the consultant fees. The funds are to be taken out of the Conserva. <br /> tion Fund. <br /> Quashnet-�Valley Golf Course <br /> Charlie asked to review the report on the fertilizers , pesticides and <br /> weed killers used on the Quashnet valley Golf Course since August 1. 19829 <br /> He requested that a copy of the report be sent to the Board of Health. <br /> Also, 'he asked the secretary to send a letter to the Superintendent of the <br /> Golf Course requesting them to send chemical derivitives in the future, <br /> C.ontinuance of Anthony & Carol Hindley -- p.m. .-- SB -2 <br /> -159 <br /> 16 HoopoleRoad, Mashpee, Nia, Mr. William�.am Hildebrand of Rebel to' s <br /> Nursery was present to represent the applicant_ This continuance was <br /> held due to' insufficient information at the night of the hearing' of Oct. <br /> .nth. It was rescheduled for November 10; but due to lack of a quorum, it <br /> had to be scheduled for tonight., The applicant ' s intent is to build a re- <br /> taining <br /> e- <br /> aining wall of 3 feet in hight on the waterfront property on oh ' s Pond <br /> in oyer to prevent further erosion of the bank and to prevent silt and <br /> decayed plant matter from washing into the pond. <br /> Mr. Hildebrand explained to the Board that between the house andJohn' s <br /> Pond, there is a grass and weed covered area which slopes down toward the <br /> pond. Where is 8 to 10 feet of clay. There is a poured concrete' -walk and <br /> an existing f .oat, <br /> r , <br /> Warne asked how ,hong the walk had been . there <br /> Mr. Iii_ldebrand told the Commission that the Hindley's have owned the house <br /> a couple of gears and that it pre-dates their ownership. He explained that <br /> the wall will be of field stone and that it will average 8 to 10 feet back <br /> into -the slope. Behind the wall, he told th Commission that they would <br /> like to put mulch and low plantings are planned for -the future and another <br /> single row of rocks would. be placed which would be 1 feet in helght. They <br /> would also like -to place sand between the lowest wall and' John ' s Pond. <br /> Dorothy asked ghat the depth of the sand would be.
