Mr., Braman replied that they would have to go above. <br /> Pauline mentioned that DEQE has recommended in the .pa, t that steps on <br /> each side of the dock be included. <br /> Chairperson Studley Bread I B ' s recommendations for this filing. They <br /> are suggesting that the Board consider connecting the proposed pier t <br /> the existing stone round to reduce pedestrian traffic on the salt marsh. <br /> Wayne asked what the height of the -pier would be Mr, Braman said that <br /> it would be a 7 foot elevation and submitted revised plans to that effect <br /> to the Board, Charlie said that he was in favor of e tending the pier <br /> back up to the stone mound, Wayne suggested building a ramp. Dorothy <br /> asked , if that would be agreeable? Mr. Braman replied that a ramp would <br /> not be as bad as building a pier: expense wise. Dorothy said that it <br /> would be one of the Orders of Conditions. No further questions were asked. <br /> The following .order of Conditions were issued <br /> The work shall conform to the following described plans : Revised Plan of <br /> Proposed Timber Pier, Ramp & Floats , Dated: October 23 , 1982i Revised: <br /> 11/17/82, P1 ans Drawn By: Braman Engineering Company, ci i 1 -Engi veers <br /> surveyors , 444 rviain St. , Wareham, Ma. It shall be as built with the <br /> addition -of 'a light wooden ramp of similar construction to connect the pier <br /> with the stone wall* <br /> Where shall be 4" spacing.. between the --planks, <br /> continuance of Joseph P. Burns , Lot 6 Barbary Circle 8 :15 P.m. - <br /> 1. AttorneyWilliam Howes was present to represent the ' applicant. <br /> (owner of Record: Larry D, Leppa, et ux This continuance was held due <br /> to a lack of a quorum at the meeting of Nov. 10th. The intent is to con- <br /> struct a single-family dwelling and deck within 100 feet of the Mash ee <br /> River, <br /> Attorney Howes total the Commission that Mr. Nye is the engineer and is <br /> present to answer any questions, He explained that the lot- i-s 1.48 feet <br /> deep from the street to the mean high water mark and that the zoning re- <br /> . quires a 40 foot setback, therefore, the house has to be -within 100 feet <br /> of the mashpee River. He further explained that the houses starts at the <br /> 40 foot setback line and is tilted at an angle for solar purposes to take <br /> advantage of the southern exposure. The elevation of the house is 26 ftso <br /> and the top of the bank is 24 ft. He told the Commission that there <br /> would be no disturbance of the bark or the edge of the bank and that the <br /> Burrs ' s are willing to move the garage up even with the 40 foot setback <br /> which would leave the only portion of the house., which would be the back <br /> corner, 20 from the hank .
