Page <br /> Decision on Maushop CottageeRelocation, cont. <br /> Chairperson Studley replied that the Commission warted foundations and/or , <br /> basements. for each of the cottages along with a. final plan, for the basin <br /> l ' it is going to be within th6 loo foot mark, <br /> Arlene Wilson commented: that foundation designs have e not been done for <br /> each- of the buildings as of yet. She said that one of the things they <br /> wanted t ''establish was what the Commission wanted to see. She asked if <br /> the Commission would have anything to say if -there w re to be no founda- <br /> tions Chairperson Studley replied that the Commission ission should have some- <br /> thing as to whether they are going to be on sono tubes or slabs or what- <br /> ever. Charlie Buckingham replied thaf it has to crake a difference as in <br /> one instance., you are talking excavation and in' the other instance, you <br /> are not. Charlie -also commented that there is some indicat-ion that the <br /> size -of the houses may be changed. <br /> Arlene Wilson asked '.f th re was a chance that the Commission would permit <br /> any of themto build any portion of the basement on some of the cottages <br /> before going to the expense of designing the plans. Chairperson Studley <br /> replied that it. would be up to the indi' vidual. filing and that she did not <br /> see any problem however, the Coffunission would like to know what is going i <br /> to go in there and it has to be on paper. Chairperson Studley said that <br /> the Commission is not looking to make it hard on the property owners, but <br /> that they are trying not to have any more problems. Chairperson Studley <br /> pointed out that the building F owners indicated when they appeared before <br /> the Commission last year that they would be grilling to go along with ' ust <br /> ab6ut anything - that they were asked to- do, <br /> chairperson Studley asked who would be doing the construction -work o 'the <br /> basin and if New Seabury going to take the tab on it Ari ,ne Wilson re- <br /> lied "yes, they acre". Chairperson Studley commented that last time, i ew . <br /> eabury went ahead without any authorization and came screaming that they <br /> ad ars emergency, that a cottage was falling into the ocean. <br /> rine Wilson was asked if the -hay bales were in place? She replied that <br /> they were in place since the last project. She said that the ones up at <br /> the corner where there is a riprap wall is the corner where they are- con- <br /> tinuing <br /> re- con- <br /> tinuing to have trouble with as it is getting reflected energy off the gall <br /> She told the Commission that they plan to come in with design for the end <br /> f the structure at the end of the wall. <br /> Craber Bids <br /> The Commission reviewed the cranberry bog bids for the Garner-Farley Cran- <br /> berry boas as follows: Robert Hallett and Donald L. Jermyn hid $12 per barrel <br /> Joseph Duarte, Jr. and Joseph ft.- Souza bid $11.25 P.er barrel, John Alden bid <br /> $8.05 per barrel or 100 pounds and Arthur Handy,, Trustee for, Handy. Cran-- <br /> berry 'Trust bid $5 per barrel. Motion was grade and .seconded to accept the <br /> bid of Robert Hallett and Donald L. Jermyn at $12 per barrel providing that <br /> 'the manner of payments be adjusted after the crop is harvested to full p y- <br /> vent. All present were in agreement. The secretary was asked to -send a memo <br /> to the Executive Secretary regarding the above motion and was asked to check <br /> w"th him regarding liability insurance, <br /> �rW_MW-MM <br />
