Mashpee Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of july 13# 1983 Page <br /> 3earinq of Cimeno and Qui n , cont. <br /> Layne Tavares asked Mr. Cimeno to point out the bank area, in relation- <br /> ship to the house. Mr. Cimeno pointed out the area on the plan. Bayne <br /> explained that the Commission requests that contours be shown on the <br /> topography so that the top of the bank and the bottom of the bank could <br /> be depicted. Wayne asked if the area was self-supporting? Mr. Cimeno - <br /> stated that the side where the house is has beach grass on it and that <br /> there has been no erosion there for three to four gears and that the <br /> front has mature growth. <br /> Chairperson Studley asked if he was telling the Commission. that the exist- <br /> ing contours would not be changed? Mr, Cimeno replied that they would not <br /> be changed. <br /> Wayne asked Mr. Cimeno if the floor elevation of the douse would be matched? <br /> Mr. Cimeno replied 1'y.es t'. <br /> i <br /> Chairperson Studley requested that he have his engineer mark the plan with <br /> the existing contours. <br /> Chairperson Studley asked Mr. Cimeno if any septic installation would be <br /> connected with the proposed addition? Mr. Cimeno replied "no". He said <br /> that there would be no plumbing in the house and that the septic system <br /> is located on the other side of the house. <br /> Bob sca ari# Treasurer of Half Tide Marina, stated that he was an abutter <br /> of Mr. Cimeno, He told the Commission that he was also present represent- <br /> ing Leo and Grace Houston. He said that the existing house at the present <br /> time has quite a bit of erosion coming down on their side of the property <br /> which nothing has been done about. He said that there was erosion going <br /> into the goad and plugging up the drains. He said that with another 1 ' <br /> x ' addition and movement of the land might be a little bit ambitious <br /> for that particular area without any other precautions taken to hold the <br /> hill where it is 'how. Mr. Scazzari commented that it was a tiro--bedroom <br /> house, which he said according to the Building Code should house four <br /> people allowing two people per bedroom. He expressed concerns that the <br /> .septic system was built for that size house. <br /> Wayne Tavares asked Mr. Cimeno if the addition would include a bedroom. <br /> Mr. Cimeno replied that it was a one bedroom bedroom. Wayne asked if he <br /> had been to the Board of Health to see if they would require an extra leach- <br /> ing pit An a.rciitect replied that he had been to the Building Inspector who <br /> advised then to go through DEQE and the Conservation Commission, He said <br /> that the Building Inspector -never stated to him that he would have to go to <br /> the Board of Health, Mr, Cimeno stated that the original plan of the house <br /> had three bathrooms one of which is unfinished) .
