Chairman Studley asked if there would be an addition of <br /> the septic or bath area. Mr. Gifford said that they would be increasing <br /> the size of the existing bathroom. <br /> Wayne asked if they would be. bringing in machinery fir. Gifford said <br /> that they did not meed any machinery to do the work. He said that the <br /> on-going maintenance of the property would be an enhancement to the <br /> area. Wayne counted that he was familiar with the area* <br /> No further questions were asked. Chairman Studley said that the Commis- <br /> sion would issue an order of Conditions,. <br /> Joseph Mazzarella, 183 Timberland Drive. SE43-314 <br /> Mr. Irving wing of Doyle Associates was present to represent the applicant <br /> in a request to construct a three-bedroom single family dwelling within <br /> loo feet of Santuit Pond. <br /> Mr. wing explained that. the house will be 281 x 4' and that everything is <br /> doing to be outside the loo foot buffer zone referring to the septic sys- <br /> tem and leaching pits and the distribution box and the septic tank are <br /> within the buffer zone. The douse is on a plain and hay bales will be <br /> placed to make sure no construction fill gashes into the water. The well, <br /> which is the closest thing to Santuit Pond, will be 11 feet away. <br /> hairperson Studley asked if there would be a full cellar? Mr. Wing said <br /> that he dial not know. Wayne asked how the well will be driven? Mr. Wing . <br /> that he would not have to dig too deep. Wayne commented that most wells <br /> are driver. He commented that whatever it is will have to go beyond the <br /> hay bales. Charlie commented that they would be driving in there. Mr. <br /> wing said that here could be a row of hay bales staked at a lower eleva- <br /> tion. Discussion was made on the depth of water. Mr. Wing said that the <br /> water was at 43 feet. Wayne commented that they will probably hand drill <br /> the well. Pauline said that would be good if they Mand drive it. Charlie <br /> said that it depends on how much -is going to go into it and what kind of <br /> water he hits. <br /> Chairman Studley said that the Commission would want to know if here will <br /> be' a full foundation or crawl space underneath the house. ' Wayne asked if <br /> it will be a walkout basement? He commented that according to the eleva- <br /> tions, he would almost have to have a walkout. Chairperson Studley said <br /> that the Commission would also like to know that the finished grade will be. <br /> Wayne said that any retaining walls should also be shown on the plan and <br /> that he should show _ n a plan parking arrangements. Mr. Wing said that he <br /> knows he wants a gravel driveway. Wayne asked if he planned to put a deck <br /> on the house. Mr. Wing replied "no". <br /> Charlie motioned to continue the hearing until Commission receives informa- <br /> tion-' and <br /> nforma-tion-' and that it be scheduled for the November meeting.
