shpee Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of March 28, 1984 Pace <br /> CRANBERRY BOG DISCUSSION, cont. <br /> Jean Thomas recalled t ey (Jermyn andHallett) had said at a <br /> recent greeting that when they got done with the project, it would <br /> be a number of years. Chairperson Studley said then at that time <br /> the town would be asked to either buy it or they could remove it. <br /> Now they want the town to give therm a yearly credit equal to the <br /> amount of principal and interest paid during the year. They are <br /> saying it will be deducted from the cranberry payment not to ex- <br /> ceed seven years. Pauline asked if they stated in their letter <br /> what the principal and interest was. Chairperson Studley replied <br /> 11no11. can said that the Commission needed figures and to have it <br /> reviewed by town counsel. Chairperson Studley said that it has <br /> already been submitted to town counsel. <br /> Chairperson Studley asked if the $2500 certificate of deposit was <br /> agreeable to the members of the Board. Jean Thomas moved that the <br /> Commission accept the $2500 certificate of deposit in lieu of the <br /> performance bond of $20,,QOO, '.'�-.".FPaulide.- DeLory '-sedonded the motion. <br /> All were in kavor, <br /> with reference to the sprinkler system, the Board felt that figures <br /> should be obtained relative to the principal and interest before <br /> making a determination, The secretary was asked to send a letter <br /> to Mr. Jermyn and Mr. Hallett requesting that ,information and to <br /> send a memo to the Executive Secretary telling him that infor ati n <br /> is being sought and that the Cmmi si n is reluctant to grant the f <br /> request nest when the original specifications said that the sprinkle <br /> system r otld'�.be'instal led andthe cost absorbed by the contractor. . <br /> HARD NG LAND <br /> The Commission reviewed a memo dated March 27 from the Executive <br /> Secretary stating that if the language to acquire the Harding lard <br /> is used on the warrant of the special town meeting as submitted by <br /> the Commission) , the town would not be able to acquire the propert . <br /> There are significant technical flaws. ' The Commission agreed to have <br /> the Executive Secretary rewrite the article.
