Marilyn distributed copies of vision statement for Mashpee drafted by the Selectmen <br /> recently. Terme mentioned this has yet to be officially adopted by the Board. The Board <br /> members have worked hard on this statement and a number of priority objectives and <br /> programs designed to fully achieve the goals laid out in this statement. <br /> Marilyn n also provided a flyer received from CORD announcing a meeting at CORD <br /> offices on October 4. 2006 at which local disability commissions can become familiar <br /> with CORD"s services and network with members of other commissions on the Cape. <br /> Terrie reported the warrant for the October Torn Meeting has been approved and sent to <br /> the printer. Bob assured her CART service will be available again. We discussed <br /> providing large-print warrants and agreed to ask Kathleen Moore if she could prepare - <br /> o copies. NOTE: After the meeting, Bob spore with Kathleen and learned she has been <br /> in contact with the CART provider and intends to provide the urger screen for CART. <br /> This will address the problems people had seeing the captioning at the May meeting. She <br /> also will look into having the screen placed on the raised platform or some other elevated <br /> position. She 'is planning to prepare copies the large-print warrants. Based on our <br /> recommendation, she will prepare 30-40 copies. <br /> Bill noted the absence of handicapped parking signs for the spaces near the entrance to <br /> South Cape Beach.
