MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Meeting January 23, 1986 Present were : Manch duPont , Chairman; Pauline DeLor ; Louise ehrma.n; E. Stuart Peoples ; Eliot Rosenberg. Also present as advisors were : Doug Boyd, lashpee Building Inspector; Mary R. Brown; Wilmont Ierrow; Judy Mills ;; a.rol Richardson and Gerald Sprout , Townof Mashpee , Department of Public Works This application is to perform reconstruction and renovation at Great River Landing, Lot 9 ; at Ockway Bay Landing, Lot #29 - rea.t Neck Road; and at Pirates Cove Landing, Lot #84 - l ashpee Neck Road. Ernest S . Virgilio was present for the Department of Public Works . He explained that the Department was endeavoring to obtain a. CZM grant in the amount o $50 ,000 , which will supply the Town with much-needed funding to reconstruct ramps at the above-mentioned landings . He described conditions presently existing at these landings and the work that the Department proposes to perform to reconstruct and renovate . He stated that all landings had broken maoa.dem in places , washed-in vegetation and ground soil and limited or no reasonable turn-arounds . Approaches will be built to the ramps , broken pieces of macademand other debris will be removed. All necessary grading, foaming, seeding and planting of necessary vegetation will be performed. Surfaces will be of permeable material. The Chairman noted that no DE No . has been received as yet . An Order of Conditions will be written as soon as a No. has been re- ceived , e- oeived , After brief discussion, as there were no further questions or d* oussion, the Chairman declared the hearing closed and stated that it would be held as noted.
