MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Meeting January 23, 1986 <br /> Present were : Manch duPont , Chairman; Pauline DeLor ; Louise <br /> ehrma.n; E. Stuart Peoples ; Eliot Rosenberg. <br /> Also present as advisors were : Doug Boyd, lashpee Building <br /> Inspector; Mary R. Brown; Wilmont Ierrow; Judy Mills ;; a.rol <br /> Richardson and Gerald Sprout , <br /> Townof Mashpee , Department of Public Works <br /> This application is to perform reconstruction and renovation at <br /> Great River Landing, Lot 9 ; at Ockway Bay Landing, Lot #29 - <br /> rea.t Neck Road; and at Pirates Cove Landing, Lot #84 - l ashpee <br /> Neck Road. <br /> Ernest S . Virgilio was present for the Department of Public Works . <br /> He explained that the Department was endeavoring to obtain a. CZM <br /> grant in the amount o $50 ,000 , which will supply the Town with <br /> much-needed funding to reconstruct ramps at the above-mentioned <br /> landings . He described conditions presently existing at these <br /> landings and the work that the Department proposes to perform to <br /> reconstruct and renovate . He stated that all landings had broken <br /> maoa.dem in places , washed-in vegetation and ground soil and limited <br /> or no reasonable turn-arounds . <br /> Approaches will be built to the ramps , broken pieces of macademand <br /> other debris will be removed. All necessary grading, foaming, <br /> seeding and planting of necessary vegetation will be performed. <br /> Surfaces will be of permeable material. <br /> The Chairman noted that no DE No . has been received as yet . An <br /> Order of Conditions will be written as soon as a No. has been re- <br /> ceived , <br /> e- <br /> oeived , <br /> After brief discussion, as there were no further questions or d* <br /> oussion, the Chairman declared the hearing closed and stated that <br /> it would be held as noted. <br /> Harold Coffin.
