Mas h pe e Conservation Commission ' <br /> Meeting of- February 6 , 1986 <br /> Page Three e <br /> Mr. Slavin ky stated that the deck would be located about 5o' <br /> from the pond. There will be no re-grading. The septic system <br /> was put in approximately 2 years ago and was inspected by the <br /> Board of Health. The project is within the resource area. <br /> Due to controversy regarding the proposed deck, the plans on file <br /> were amended and the Applicant withdrew the proposed deck con- <br /> structi . <br /> After discussion, an Order of Conditions was written and will be <br /> issued having the following special condition <br /> 1 . No work shall be performed forward of the house . <br /> Cartel Development Cor (Holmes & McGrath, Inc . - Agent) <br /> This application is to •construct and maintain a. single-family <br /> dwelling with attached garage , deck and patio. To construct a <br /> swimming pool, landing, on-site sewage disposal system, ' dr ivw y <br /> and appurtenances , To perform grading, 1 oaming, seeding and <br /> planting at Lot #9 Ockway Bay, Assessor' s Map 100-1A. <br /> John. Landers- auley, representative for the Agent, presented <br /> plans . - With lir. Landers-Ca.uley was a partner Of ,r°tel Develop- <br /> ment Corporation to assist with the presentation. <br /> Loa.min.g and seeding would take place around the perimeter of the <br /> house , portions of the pool and along the driveway. l,ot #9 <br /> ook ray Bay is 4.49 acres , Three acres is wetlands . Portions of <br /> the wetland are salt marsh. There is also fresh-water habitat . <br /> The proposed sewage system is outside the flood hazard zone as is <br /> the rest of the project. Staked bales of hay will be placed along <br /> the resource area during construction. The intent is to literally <br /> encompass pass the entire area of construction. The resource a.rea is a <br /> coastal bark and land subject to flooding. <br /> Mr. Landers-Cauley stated that the project could not be accomplished <br /> without doing some damage to the resource areas . Of course , he said , <br /> this would be as minimal as possible , After construction, the area <br /> would be restored to a state where it will be stable and be able to <br /> resist storm-related erosion. <br /> Ms . Be rman questioned the implied distances from the wetlands to <br /> the proposed project as indicated in the Notice of Intent and on <br /> the plans . she said, "1 assume that�.iaur purview goes 1001 from <br />
