Mr. Talanian, representative for Cartel <br /> Development Corp. , attempted to explain. <br /> Ms , Behrr an expressed serious concern about drainage and a. possible <br /> washout regarding the proposed decks and patio . <br /> Mr. Rosenberg questioned the proposed retaining walls which would <br /> be " in essence , almost another swimming pool. If it rained, it <br /> would take weeks for it drain or it would cut a channel right <br /> down to the marsh. " He said , "I am concerned about a patio which <br /> you show at elevation 18' and you show the retaining wall coning <br /> p to approximately 24' at least on almost half of it , This means <br /> that you will have a. 6 ' high retaining wall around that patio . <br /> That is on at least three sides , if not more , of that patio . If you <br /> get an inch of rain or more , what will be done with it?" Mr. <br /> Landers-Cauley attempted pted to explain slopes and grades , and drainage <br /> patterns . <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated that it appeared to be necessary for the Board <br /> to have a. detailed drainage plan before an answer could be given. <br /> He stated that the Board is very much concerned with the drainage , <br /> especially because of the proximity of the marsh and the flood <br /> hazard zone .
