1 <br /> 4 <br /> Mashpee Conservation Commission <br /> Meeting of February y 6 , 1986 <br /> Page Six <br /> follows , <br /> *AMENDED ORDER OF CONDITIONS , ~pe c i ically amending special <br /> condition No. 6 and supercedes the amendment of January 9, 1986. <br /> *1 . 6, The proposed dock shall be elevated so a <br /> to be no no closer than 1' above the highest <br /> spring tide expected . The dock can be ramped <br /> down to follow the contour From the ' height <br /> to a 1' height . <br /> All other conditions remain the sane . <br /> David Wolfe m. M4 Warwick Associates , Inc . - Agent <br /> This proposal is to construct and maintain a wood-pile pier, <br /> steps , ramp & float extending less than 5' into the wat-ers o.L <br /> Popponesset Creek at #258 Crosstree Way. <br /> Chris Clark, representative for the Agent , presented plans . <br /> He stated that the project was previously before the Commission <br /> in 1982 . It was approved and received an Order of Conditions <br /> in October, l9 2 and had an Arne' Corps of Engineers permit and <br /> a Chapter 91 license , He also presented..-,.photographs of the <br /> location where the dock will go out . He . said that the reason <br /> the project was again before the Commission i s becaUse the time <br /> has expired on the Order of Conditions . He said that in compari- <br /> son with other docks in the area, it is relatively short. It' s <br /> overall length is 381 . It' s length From high water is 29' and <br /> it' s length from mean low water is approximately 15' . Thecon- <br /> struction details remain the same as the prior plan. It will <br /> be ra-ised - five feet above mean low water. The area is sparsely <br /> vegetated with s partina patens ; but it is mostly sandy. The <br /> bottom is sandy. He stated that all of the orders of conditions <br /> have been added to the current Notice of Intent. <br /> Robert ert I axim of the l ashpee Shellfish Commission commented on the <br /> proposal . He said that there is passive shellfishing/recreational <br /> type in the area.. Also, "it is not a bad ' set-up' as far as <br /> docks in the area go" . <br /> Ms . duPont called for further questions , comments and discussion. <br /> Mr. Clark pointed out that there is a. small coastal bank in the <br /> area and that the project would help to eliminate erosion by pro- <br /> viding access to the beach. <br />
