t MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Meeting of dune 2 , 1986 MEMBERS PRESENT:T: March du Pont, Chairman , Elliot Rosenberg , Louise Behrman, Gertrude Ferriday. MEMBERS ABSENT: Raul 1"ne DeLory, Stuart Peoples , Dorothy Studley. ADVISORS PRESENT: Carol Jacobson, Gerald Sprout, Judy Mills , Lary Brown. The Chairman convened the meeting at :Bo p.m. Francisco Tavares , Inc. , 210 Waterway. Reauest for Determination of Applic- ability pplic- ability to extend and revise driveway, extend rear deck, installation of new sept i c s stem construction of wood it in eawa1l l andsca � � p in revisions at Lot 210 Waterway. Determination is requested because they are moving the septic to the front from the rear which is within 50' of the water. The existing asphalt driveway will be removed and replaced with crushed s one.F The structure is being raised to obtain a second floor. They are reggestin a swimming pool in the back yard, ars above ground system dine to elevation with the lower ' in the ground. The owner also wishes to build a seawall as there is currently a seawall on either side of the property. This seawall will require engineering. Advice of the commission was. requested for the proper forst to proceed and s to whether septic can be started. The existing deck is 78' from the water~; proposed deck, at a lower elevation around the pool would be 36' from the water. POSITIVE DETERMINATION - Taken under advisement. Verbal approval was expressed for the initial work on the septic system provided permits are obtained from the Board of Health. James B. Wright - SE -572 (Holmes & McGrath) . To construct and maintain an in-ground pool and pool patio at the southeast corner of the lot, all within 100' etl and. To include some mirror regrading in land subject to coastal flooding at lot D, Assessors Map 100-8 on the roadway to Gooseberry Island. Jack Landers Presenting. Continuation requested to allow investigation of moving the pool back to the upland side D' . Provisions for draining the pool : Mr. Landers stated they were recommending discontinuation of chlorination one week prior to draining of the pool by small pump onto a splash pad. The commission requested that the parking area be drawn out on the plans. CONTINUED TO JULY 103 1986.
