Cod- S_uryey Commiasion <br /> Consultants <br /> Special Conditions: <br /> l,a The gravel driveway, identified as access #3 in the above captioned plans, also <br /> known as "Clamshell Road"I will be removed, the coastal bark restored and the original <br /> vegetation barberry, : cedar, rosy rugosa, dune grass and beach grass) replaced to a <br /> distance of 100 feet rom the edge of the coastal bank. No other work is to proceed <br /> until this condition i completed to the satisfaction of the Mashpee Conservation Comm- <br /> ission. All planting will be maintained until they are firmly established. <br /> b. It is the appl .can is responsibility to provide all contractors with a copy of <br /> this Order and to ensure that all workers are informed of the conditions of this Order <br /> before they begin work at the site. <br /> c. The area to be restored Is to be staked defining limits of work and elevations and <br /> will be subject to semi-annual review by the Mashpee Conservation Co=ission and the. "down <br /> Engineer. <br /> d. The Corporation will submit written documentation of the program results on asemi- <br /> annual basis. Duplicate monitoring reports will be sent to the Mashpee Conservation <br /> Commission at the same time they are seat to New seabury Corporation. <br /> .a. Access #1 shown of7the above captioned plans and located at Dean's Pond shall <br /> e used as one of the access routes. <br /> b. Access at Tide Watch village identified as site , shall be reconstructed, vegetated <br /> and stabilized. <br /> C. Access #5 at the golf course, designated as a staging area,will continue to be used <br /> rid will be maintained and stabilized. <br /> 3.a. All material used for this project must be clean, -and will not contain silt or clay. <br /> b. Random analyses of material to be used from various areas where it is being stockpiled <br /> will be required before commencement of work No more than l of the material is to <br /> be fine and analyses must indicate actual size, <br /> c. Analyses of material from several locations on the beach will be required to assure <br /> compatibility and the analysis will be performed by a disinterested third party. It i <br /> important to mate grain size for the differing sites since Dean's Pond site consists of <br /> ones on a barrier bead while the Maushop village site is an eroding coastal outwa h <br /> ank. It is also important to avoid destroying existing vegetation which serves to <br /> rtet certain limited bank areas. <br /> .a Nourishment materials shall not be placed in such a manner as to destroy living <br /> ne grass or other lure vegetation. At any place where the new fill encroaches on the <br /> oastal bank, it will be re-vegetated out ' from said coastal bank. Where grassy areas <br /> e destroyed, that area will be re-vegetated with culms of American dune grass or indig- <br /> os vegetation. <br />
