Mashpee Conservation Commission <br /> Meeting of April 2 1987 <br /> Page 5. <br /> Bob Bu rgmann of Holmes McGrath appeared for Mr. Guttman, summersea Road. H <br /> advised one year ago an order of Conditions was issued. Plans were not f i nal i zed <br /> for the house. He requested the order be amended to reflect specific house plans <br /> submitted reflecting the do rs a 1 ed size of the house. The actual footprirpt on the <br /> lot has been reduced. The garage area has been detached from the house and the en- <br /> trance turned 90 degrees . The driveway has an area proposed for a turnaround . Two <br /> drywel Is in the driveway are proposed to retain all water in the driveway area , Re- <br /> ta i n i n . a l 1 s are to be of landscaping timbers. The setback remains a 18 feet <br /> Mrs. Ma rs ters questioned whether a variance was received from the Board of Appeals <br /> on the setback. Mr. Burgmann stated this is a legal question with New Seabury and <br /> non-v lnerab i 1 i ty to Zoning Bylaw setback requirements. Mrs. Marsters asked if this <br /> also applied to the setback from the wetlands . she requested he obtain a letter of <br /> legal opi-n ion that the variance that would otherwise be required for setback from <br /> .the water is not required. Mr. <br /> Ms Bela rma n stated a written opinion will be requested from Town Counsel and suggested <br /> the client shou1d contact the Board of Appeals. <br /> John advised a letter has been received from CCCCC asking that a member be nominated <br /> as a delegate with an alternate. $15-00 membership fee was also requested . fleet i ng s <br /> will be twice yearly, April 11 and November 8. Their activities w'r l l be downgraded. <br /> Mrs. Ma rs to r s stated she wished to resign as delegate. <br /> After discussi on; { <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to nominate leather Urquhart as delegate and <br /> membership dues of $15-00 to be paid . <br /> Carleton Coli ins - Enforcement order. A reply from mr. Coll iris stated the property <br /> was sold on 12/1 /86. lin Enforcement order wi l 1 be issued to the neer owner. <br /> McCormack -- Enforcement Order. Forms have been sent to be filed. <br /> JOHNS POND PARK COMMITTEE: Mrs. Jacobson advised the sub-committee would 1 i ke to <br /> have approval to put out signs i n Johns Pond Park. Thirty to forty will be used <br /> with the same amount to be used in Mashpee Elver Corridor. They will be 1 '' X 1611 <br /> w i th a quoted price of $35.00 per sign for a quanti ty of 25 dropping to $31 .00 for <br /> 50. Money is available in the Johns Poach Park fund to cover this item. <br /> John advised Ed Webber has two building permits , one a demolition permit. on the <br /> pl ans there was a dotted 1 i ne between the proposed add i t ion w i th a 12 ' x 32 ' section <br /> to be demo] i shed. A request has been received to amend the Notice of Intent to re- <br /> flect <br /> e- <br /> fle t that the area will be removed by hand and the material will be removed from <br /> the site. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to ratify an amendment to the Notice of Intent o f <br /> Edward Webber to allow demolition as stated. <br /> John advised it has been decided to go foroqard with the Opinions of Value on the <br /> three parcels of land at santuit Pond and one in back of the Indian Museum. <br /> i <br />
