Concerning steps off of the dock, the cross
section does not show any.
Concern was expressed for swimmers getting back and forth over the barks disturbing
vegetation.
It was noted the pond bottom is very well vegetated in that area.
The Commission was advised a covenant will be on the deed prohibiting u age or
mooring of power boats at the site, special permit for the dock has been received
from the Board of Appeals.
Mrs. Ferriday stated s ao i n on the dock is shown as 3/411 and h u 1 d be I ". He cited the dock as excessively large and not
in keeping with other docks on the pond. Along the 800 foot stretch the bottom ranges
f rom muck to -f i ne sand. He suggested pro ision should be made for a rack for storing,
if sunfishes are to be used . He further urged that there be a means for getting into
the water from the pier for emergency purposes .
Carol McCue, President of Ti mbe r l ane Shores Assoc. , stated the proposed use of the dock
for swimming is impossible because of heavy vegetation under and above the area and it
is muddy. A canoe is the only possible boat that could be used .
HEARING CLOSED, ORDER OF CONDITIONS WITHIN 21 DAYS .
8:30 - Phy1 1 i s Happe 1 , (Fou r Seasons Greenhouse) Reques t f r Determ i nat ion of Appl i c
ab i l i ty to install one passive solar sunspace and collector system, rework existing
deck and build addition at deck of outdoor wood, 80 square feet, at Wheeler Road.-
No
o one appeared to present the project.
John recommended an Ab b rev 1 a ted No t i ce of I n ten t shou I d be f i t ed as the p 1 an s and
appl i cation subrn i ttd do not ref 1 ect the work involved.
VOTE; Motion made and seconded to issue a positive determination to Phyl l is Happel .
