Louise Beh rman, Gertrude Ferriday, Carol Ja ob o , <br /> Heather Urquhart, Mary Marsters. <br /> ASSENT: March du Pont, El 1 iot Rosenberg. <br /> Also present were John Varkonda, Conservation Off icer; Joseph Burns , As soclate <br /> Member; and Patrick Coffey. <br /> 7:30 - Angelo P. Toyia (Braman Engineering Co, ) To construct a 3 foot wide stair- <br /> way, <br /> toir- <br /> ay, 4 X 84 foot timber-pier, 14 foot gangway and to place a 6 X 12 foot float <br /> in Great River at 44 Wheelhouse Lane. Douglas Cameron presenting. Aerial pho-to <br /> of the area together with a revised plan were presented. The special permit t from <br /> the Board of Appeals was ' re e i ve !. There will he one inch pac i rig on the deck <br /> — - .. -- <br /> planking . Pier elevation varies from -1 at the beginning for 4 reet, � n, ,.. <br /> dropping to an elevation of --1 with 4 foot minimum clearance above the a l't <br /> marsh. In the area of the proposed float there is 1-1/2 feet of waterat low <br /> tide. This float d ra inches of water without touching bottom. The area <br /> elected to place the pier ,and float has the least amount of eel grass . <br /> John advised there were no written comments from shellfish. Comments made at <br /> the Board of Appeals-, hearing were that minimal het 1 f'r sh i ng takes place in the <br /> area and as long as this is a T configuration and access is supplied, there were <br /> no objections . He questioned storage of the floats. Mr. Cameron stated they <br /> M be either picked up and brought to a yard for storage or stored in the up- <br /> land area by towing to town landing for removal . John further questioned the <br /> timbers to be used and was informed they will be CCA treated timber, 6 X 8 posts <br /> going across the marsh and four timber pilles in the hater, jetted in. <br /> Ms Behrman stated it would be preferable to have them driven . <br /> HEARING CLOSED - ORDER OF CONDITIONS WITHIN 1 DAYS . <br /> - George Darcy Maurice Zabarsky, Trs . (Braman EngineeringCo. ) To construct <br /> a 4 X 156 foot timber pier with a 3 x 14 foot gangway and 8 x 16 foot float and <br /> stairway at Waterline Drive South. Douglas Cameron presenting . Patrick Coffey <br /> stepped down,Rev i sed plans , sane as the original , with the addition of stamp and <br /> signature omitted on the o.r i g i na 1 were presented. Board of Appeal approval ha s <br /> not been received and no hearing date has yet been set. <br /> Ms Beh rman stated the presentation hou 1 d be continued until such ti e as any <br /> abutters wishing to hear the presentation could be present as only i responses <br /> were received back on the abutter notification. <br /> Mr. Cameron requested Continuance pending Board of Appeal approval and agreed <br /> the abutters will be notified of the new hearing date. <br /> CONTINUED INDEFINITELY AT THE AGENT' S RE UEST% <br /> :00 - Gertrude Simmons.
