MINUTES July 2, 1987 CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> have measured, from the top of the concrete, which givesi 2 feet, <br /> o feet at the bottom of the pit and 8.3 feet from the bottom of the <br /> pit up. <br /> Mr. Brown stated, in regards to the swimming pool issue, it has been <br /> determined that if all the swimming pools were emptied at one time, <br /> assuring there was no leaching into the ground, it would add 8 inches <br /> to the pond. <br /> HEARING CLOSED ORDER of CONDITIONS WITHIN 21 DAYS <br /> 7:45 - Ronald Grossman - continued from June 4, 1987 <br /> Mr. Chris Clark was in attendance representing Mr. Grossman. <br /> At this time Mr. Burns stepped down, due to a conflict of interest. <br /> Mr. Clark stated modifications to the plans presented on June 4. 1987 <br /> were requested. He stated the habales have been relocated as close to <br /> the dwelling as possible. Mr. Clark stated it was discussed with this <br /> Board that it was not necessary to run the retaining wall around the peri- <br /> meter of the deck. He stated the retaining wall shown on the plan is <br /> located inside the deck. Mr. Clark stated questions were also raised in <br /> regards to the close proximity of the retaining wall on the east side of <br /> the pool . Mr. Clark stated these revised plans were shown to the ala shpee <br /> Building Inspector which states , , the revised plans presented to rye meet <br /> the requirements of the State building codes". <br /> . Clank stated variances for the wetlands area, the A. .E. dis- <br /> trict and the setback from the road have been granted by the Board of <br /> Appeals. He stated a variance was obtained from the Board of Health for <br /> the streetl ine setback. <br /> Mr. varkonda stated the retaining wall on the revised plans is very <br /> well defined. <br /> HEARING CLOSED ORDER of CONDITIONS WITHIN 21 DAY <br /> 7:58 - Steven rterel l i - fir. var5konda explained to the members of the <br /> Commission, that originally a stop work order was placed on Mr. arterelli '.s <br /> dock last summer. He stated Mr. Carterelli has approached the Commission <br /> for the purpose of legally obtaining an "order of Conditions" and has since <br /> consulted with Mr. Patrick Coiffey, and at his suggestion, has redesigned <br /> his plans to cantilever the dock from the top. <br /> HEARING CLOSED - ORDER of CDNDIIT NS WITHIN 21 DAYS <br /> oo -- John' s Pond Park Committee <br /> Mr. John Varkonda -and Ms. Wendy Rubin were in attendance representing <br /> this Committee. <br /> 1r. varkonda stated fir. Virgilio has estimated that completion time <br /> for work rude to the beach will involve 11/ days work. Mr. v rk n a stated <br /> . Virgilio is proposing to bring in 300 tons of sand to re-grade the <br /> beach. 1 r. -va r'konda explained no change in drainage or further erosion <br /> into the pond should take place.
