Martick stated they are planning a second floor addition and are <br /> concerned with their view being blocked which he stated it will not. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson questioned why the house is so positioned when the lot <br /> is so large. It is stated he is within 53 ft. when it is her opinion <br /> he willbe at the top of the bank where the work - limit is shown . M . <br /> .Martic . stated he went by state laws where the top of the bank is . It <br /> drops off . <br /> Ms Hanscom advised he is talking about the 11 ft . flood plan which is <br /> different. <br /> Ir. Martick stated, if the house is moved 'further back , the setback o <br /> the well from the septic being closer than 150 feet would be involved. <br /> The lots are narrow and siting is difficult. Nothing will be done to <br /> the bank, it will remain as it 'is and there will be no cutting, <br /> digging or, clearing. <br /> Ms Hanscom stated the point -is the bank is about where the house is. <br /> ,Mr. Martick referred to the cesspool of an existing house being below <br /> the 11 ft. elevation and the house on the other side also . The <br /> pollution is more important he stated . Mrs. Marsters stated this is <br /> not relevant to, this hearing. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson stated the concern is that he Is wit i-n 10 ft. of the <br /> bank when there is sufficient room to do som thin -else. There is -no <br /> reason other than aesthetics to be set w .r.e lt: -is <br /> Ms Berman stated there is an enormous amount of lo,t coverage # <br /> Mr. Martick stated the proposed size of the -house inc-1ude the deck <br /> also. Ms B hrman stated the Commission should have pians indicating <br /> this. <br /> Mir. Martiok stated the douse plan shoes the - tent- of the work area. <br /> Ms Berman advised if an on-site is done -for .a Certificate of Comp- <br /> liance that size would be expected , if half is -deck, there would be a <br /> problem. Mr. Mart i ck stated, if he understands- the laws correctly, the <br /> extent of the house, - it does not say the footprint is the same. It <br /> doesn' t - expand beyond that footprint shown o 'the plan. <br /> Mr . Rosenberg stated he doesn' t have any problem with that if the foot- <br /> print <br /> oot- <br /> print stays within that. On the other hand it seems there is no reason <br /> that this house cannot go back further. The well location has nothing <br /> to do with it and the well could go right into the basement. He stated <br /> this will be 4 feet above flood zonet and asked if Mr. M artick was <br /> going dawn below the 12 foot line into that with a full basement. Mr . <br /> Mar-tick stated most of the house will be to the back and the front <br /> will be deck <br /> Mr .
